This ruleset was used for the Narrows Round 1 Qualifier for the 2010 DDR National Tournament.
Format:
No qualifiers. Everyone in each round plays the same song no matter who they play against. Those songs were pre-chosen in advanced.
3 song matches, best 2 out of 3.
Double Elimination
Each round had a card with 5 more songs on it that the players can choose to play in their set. Each of the 5 songs came from a category (like speed, stamina, timing).
Rules:
Only Mods: Speed or Arrow Mods
First song of each tournament round is pre-chosen.
The player that wins the pre-chosen song picks the 3rd song of the match, the other player chooses song #2.
Ties are resolved by playing the remaining songs on the card. Coin flip for which song is chosen.
Winner chosen by high-score (tournament was on Supernova)
