We seem to periodically get a lot of posts regarding the sale or auction of various music game machines. I thought instead of continuing to spam up the general music discussion forum, I'll just post any Bemani auctions I find in here.

BLueSS Edit: Frequently visit https://www.cyberauctions.com/index.php for local auctions in the PNW area.

The website the guy made just to sell this machine is epic awesome.
www.ddrmachineforsale.com
That website pretty amazing. So it's going for $6,900 at present, & they paid about $14k originally..
Might be worth it, if it's still in practically new condition  Wink

HUO SN1 for $6900? Nah, would much rather buy a trashed Extreme, replace all the cabinet decals,  replace the monitor with a 31khz monitor, replace all sensors and bulbs, then install SN2 or newer for under $5000. You've got to be high if you think anyone in this day and age will pay $6900 for the new Betson cabs. I guess it's not a bad deal for what it is, but why anyone would want to buy a dedicated cabinet for a horrendously synced pile of trash is beyond me.

My question is: Who is this kid and why isn't he on here?
You'd think a guy with a cabinet at least knows someone in the community. This is so random.

My thoughts exactly.  Plus, based on his website, he's hilarious and I want to be his friend.

@Keby & Laura;

My thoughts exactly.

Also, $6,900 is pricey to us, but we're also the gurus of the community and know where/how to get cabinets for cheap. If some rich person wants a fun toy for their house, they're not going to be interested in all the work to fix up a beat up machine. Buying something that's functional, looks good, and is local is all most would care about.

EDIT:
Ha ha ha, I like his fan attachment mod.

next, did you win the cabinet?  How much was the final price? The auction site seems to hide the pages once the auction is over.

No, I didn't. It went for $900, but which was a bit high for a GX cab with non-flat CRT and an Mk3. It was also missing the marquee pedestal, so the marquee was just sort of sitting on top..

If anyone here did win it, reach out to me and I can put you in touch with a guy who has a pedestal he can sell you. Wink

Dang it that I bought a house that requires all my extra $ just to fix it up. Sad

FX cab? Old traditional pads or newer bracketless style? Regardless, pretty reasonable price for a machine running Fiesta 2. Smiley

I have a nice GX cab that's never seen the inside of an arcade (less than 200 plays when I bought it) running Fiesta EX now. I was mostly bidding on this as a project/parts machine, heh.

Also, Bill, you started my downward spiral into arcade machine obsession. I have...acquired some additional machines since I bought that Korean cab off you..

Edit: I answered my own question. It's an FX cab with traditional stage. Video of it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIMGI6aV1w8

That DDR Extreme is ours, was last at the B&I.  Works well without issues.

I want it.

I'm going to go check it out today after my court thing in Kent.

I want to have my own cabinet and I now have the place.

Wow the website is really faulty and the "bid now" buttons don't even work.

Is the bid still going on? I don't see an end time or anything showing it's over...

the auction has a couple weeks or so until end.  Hit alt and f5 on your computer if the auction does not want to load or show photos properly  Seems all Windows in the browser need to be shut down to be able to view the auction.

It does say those $5 sensors are "used", though.

I always see some come up on eBay, but aren't there online places like uniarcade, arcade spare parts, and others that you can buy 50 at once? For an individual (like myself), that's not very cost effective, but if you own 5 machines, I imagine that's not a bad investment.

Near the bottom of this article are some source recommendations for sensors.
