I would like the videos of me playing in the mulligan 8 (Josh S).  I'm mostly interested in the final matches, but it would be interesting to see the round robin parts, too (I won one by 1 great or something on one song).  The others weren't too interesting as far as competition, but I don't really get to see videos of myself playing very often so it's interesting.

Thanks for this, I know it's going to suck to have to go through and cut out each match.

once you cut the stuff down, i'd like the raw files of everything you have.  no rush, obviously.  it's all on your schedule.

You mean like cut out all the stuff in between?  How should I send that?

Also I'm having a little difficulty getting the video format to work with Adobe Premiere 6...Its a .mod file. So, I've been trying to figure out ways to convert it to dv-avi2 which is what normally works...I just have to get the file from .mod to .avi, then I can reconvert to dvavi2.  Anyone have any suggestions?  I still will look today.

if the stuff is in .avi format you can zip up a few of them and post them on megaupload.  a single file of 500mb or less can be downloaded for free.

if you're using a mac, you can try using a program like ffmpegx.

for converting to .avi via PC, a quick search has suggested CyberLink PowerDirector.

Thanks, actually that program you mentioned was bundled in with my camcorder.  So yes, I have figured out how to convert .mod to .avi, then I already had the program for avi to dv/avi2. 

So now I can use premiere   Tomorrow, I will finally be able to post some tournament videos online.  I am going to post finals first most likely, then address other's requests later.  Sit tight!  Videos coming soon

Wow...you're quick to notice, I've actually been working on them for a while, check out hi quality when they are available.  I have a facebook account too.  I'm getting the matches done...slowly.  Sure it'd be a lot faster if I just uploaded the song, but how cool is it to have intro like this?!  lol

nice vids.  how skewed was the camera for the matches that were skewed?  are they still worthy of watching?

If you were planning on doing this for the Mulligan 8 videos, you can use RORD for me; but I don't know anyone else's 4 letters, and all the 4's that I know of the top 8 are already posted (Except I think he uses WHIZ not CHES).

Likewise, my tag is AIDZ but I think you knew that.

.mod to .avi (powerdirector)
.avi to .avi2 (Canopus file coverter)
.avi2 to .avi (Premiere)
.avi to reduced .wmv (Windows Movie Maker)
.wmv to reduced youtube quality (Youtube)

I go through movie maker to convert to wmv only to make file upload and replay faster for those with lesser high speed internet (such as myself).  I have the almost full quality videos still on the computer.
