$10 for eamuse pass

18 credits for initial d card

And about the free credits thing: this site shows which games are eligible for you to be able to receive the credit and you only get that free credit if you've never played the game before with your e-amusement pass and are logging into the game for the first time.

Oh, you mean the QR code that unlocks 回レ!雪月花? If I recall, it's not tied to any particular app. Just scan the code and it will take you to a website where you're asked to enter your email address (the one that's tied to your KONAMI ID, or it won't work). Click on the link in the subsequent email from Konami and voila, new song unlocked! Other than that, the game doesn't have any unlockable songs at the moment other than from the BEMANI-wide events. The Bear Garden only unlocks stickers for you to able to customize your player sheet from the e-amusement site.

IIDX unlocks are also tied to the e-amuse card (I've got around 5 or 6 that I've never seen show up on the songlist when someone else is playing). I think Konami abandoned the idea of "all players help with the unlocking" after what happened with MAX2. Especially since they can easily just do time based unlocking using the network (which IIDX has been doing since RED).

So therefore it stands to reason that any unlocks you see when playing are there because YOU unlocked them, and the only way others will see them is if they unlock them on their own.

The e-amuse cards are $10, and enable you to track scores and unlock stuff (though the main unlocking events for Pendual ended a few weeks ago, but there's still some stuff available to unlock). The number pad is primarily for entering the PIN to the card (the first time you use it, you need to set one), but it also has some in-game functions (the two that come to mind are swapping between Single and Double while picking a song and enabling the EXPAND-JUDGE modifier...makes the timing windows enormous, but won't save scores). Using a card will also cause modifiers to carry over between plays (though this is a double-edged sword, I forgot to turn off Hard mode once...ahem).

Register your card online, so that if you lose your card, you can transfer data on to a new one. https://remywiki.com/EAMUSEMENT

$10 for eamuse pass

It's a good thing I was able to get my e-amuse pass from Japan where they're only 300 yen each, because that is some serious markup right there.

It's nothing too special, really. It contains some account features from the e-amusement website but is mainly a social app for players of e-amusement enabled games.

It looks like the e-amuse apps may be country-locked.

I have to wonder how much sending the cards internationally adds to the prices (probably not much, but the thought's still there).

The cost of the cards in the US might also subsidize the cost of the service.

How do I change the little profile card in Gitadora? I've been unlocking stuff for it and I want to be cool. Pls help.

1) Login to your e-amuse account, then go to this page: http://p.eagate.573.jp/game/gfdm/gitadora_tb/p/eam/index.html
2) Click on "Player Board."
3) Click on カスタマイズ (Customize). This will take you to the edit screen.
4) At the bottom, there will be the list and quantity of stickers you have obtained filtered by category (シート, キャラクター, オブジェクト, エフェクト, 文字; or Sheet, Character, Object, Effect, Letters, respectively). Make sure to click on them to see all of your available stickers.
5) Click on a sticker to place it on the board. The buttons to the right of the board should be self-explanatory. To edit a sticker already placed on the board, click on the corresponding sticker in the list to the left of the board.
6) At the end, make sure to click on 保存 (Save) to save your work.

I notice it wasn't mentioned in this thread, though it was mentioned in the Round1 thread, the e-amuse network is offline from 1-3PM each day (though I do not know if this includes Friday/Saturday, which would be Saturday/Sunday in Japan). Japan does not observe DST, so those times will change when the US comes off of DST (I think this will become 2-4PM, but I'm not actually sure about the numbers here).

Got some more info. The e-amusement page linked from RemyWiki does mention how to register a Japanese Konami ID, but it doesn't actually point out that this is necessary to get full access to all parts of the system. A US Konami ID will actually work just fine for most of the stuff (I had one because I didn't realize it made a difference), but it will completely lock you out of the PASELI side (which I think is required for anyone outside of Japan to get an e-amusement subscription, could be wrong on this) unless you can somehow locate a kiosk for it. Also, I get the impression that the upcoming PC IIDX INFINITAS will not work with Konami IDs outside of Japan (and the TOS for INFINITAS appears to make reference to the PASELI system).

Fortunately, if you screw that up like I did, it's a simple matter to detach the pass you're using, register a new Konami ID for Japan (well, aside from the fact that the security question answer requires full width characters) and attach the pass to the new Konami ID.

So one thing I'm not sure on: How exactly does one go about getting BitCash to convert to PASELI? Since PASELI is the only way to get some stuff (Rainbow Tickets on copula, as well as subscription based stuff) for anyone outside Japan.

I've attempted to Google, but haven't come up with anything yet.

Here's where I went to buy BitCash. There's a small fee involved, but online charging is as easy as buying the code and entering it into the charge page.

I purchased a e-amusement card today at round 1 Santa Ana.

Is there anyway to get a IIDX graphic e-amuse card instead of the plain silver Konami one?

So do I have to import one over from Japan and then swap info on the computer?

I think you may have to import one. Someone here may know better than me though.

Oh right, I forgot about that. I provided a copy of my passport and my order went through fine after that. I'm not sure if any other form of ID will suffice.

Driver's license was sufficient (they needed some form of photo ID, and I wouldn't be surprised if a driver's license is not that common in Japan).

One thing I noticed while dinking around on the main eAmuse site site was a virtual pass option, which appears to be usable with a cell phone. Any idea if this is a usable option outside of Japan? I've noticed when looking at some YouTube videos done on Korean/Asian machines that the cell phone icon is missing on the ending screen. Granted, I don't think my phone has a NFC chip in it, so this wouldn't be very helpful to me either way Tongue.

it didn't really take off anywhere except japan

I found a new site called GiftNeko that sells BitCash. Fees are much lower and they take Paypal. They also didn't ask for any ID.

I also found another site that doesn't require ID called OffGamers: $50 + a small processing fee for 5000 yen, which I'm not sure is better or worse than GiftNeko or whether or not they have any extra fees as well.

Something I've been trying to figure out for a fair bit now, but to no avail...

How exactly are rival challenges sent on IIDX? I've gotten a fair few, but I have no idea how to actually send any. Given that a comment can be attached, I'm assuming it can't be done just from the machine itself. I've looked all over the game website (and I have a basic subscription), but have come up with nothing.

For DDR: the following options can only be adjusted via the website:

Screen Filter
Arrow Skin (not talking about Rainbow/Vivid/Note/Flat here)
Display Guidelines
Combo Position (behind/in front of arrows, requires Basic Course for JP accounts)
Fast/Slow Notation (requires Basic Course for JP accounts)
Character

Workout Data

I'm uncertain if the Basic Course requirement applies to US accounts or not.

IIDX: Rainbow Tickets will expire on 10/26. For those of you who have them, keep this in mind.

LEGGENDARIA songs on IIDX are now playable a couple times a week without having to purchase the special item of the version (in the case of CANNON BALLERS, that would be Nitro Boosters). This is due to the fact that the folder is no longer exclusive to the EXTRA STAGE, and a couple daily bonuses, detailed below.

Thursday (Friday JP time): The V-Disc bonus applies to all plays, including the coin mode we're limited to. In addition, the LEGGENDARIA folder only requires 1 V-Disc to choose a song from, as opposed to the usual 6. This means the folder is accessible for everyone the entire day. But the minimum difficulty is still 10 (the HCN version songs were removed from CB).

Saturday (Sunday JP time): The VIP Pass Black allows accessing the LEGGENDARIA folder without any V-Disc requirement. However, it can only be used once a week.

One does not need to purchase BitCash anymore to purchase PASELI from Konami's website. The website now takes credit cards from all regions.
