What do you guys use to play Japanese games? A JP PS2, Modchip?
Apparently I use a magic swap slide disk. It seemed safe at first, then some of my games wouldn't load like Bully.
Now, it'll only load dancy foot games. :?

Matt Ragsdale: My 3 year old cousin has more maturity than you, that's something to be ashamed of.

Ok, I asked somthing close to this question in another thread I created, then I realized that this thread existed, so I figured I'd get onboard with everyone else.
I have a PS2 slim (I don't know what version #, I'll check when I get home). I was looking to get this Mod Chip because I suck nutz at soldering anything.
http://modchip.com/ps2/dms4eziorder.php
My question is this; it says it will work for a PS2 Slim, that's great, but on another site, the same chip says NOT compatible w/SLIM models.
http://www.modchipstore.com/PlayStation-2-ModChips-1-259.html
I just want to make sure I get what will work. Will anything be sticking out or externally different about the system? Those slims are tiny things and I'm amazed to think you could cram those extra cables into it without a problem.
Will this work for me? Has anyone used this mod chip or have any experience with it? Your input is highly appreciated.
EDIT/PS
KevinDDR said this in my other thread:

Anyway, I think that the mod chip should work. DMS modchips are usually very reliable.
PROTIP: Order the Pro version of that modchip. It has some flash memory that you can store ELFs on, which might be useful if you wanna run HDLoader (or the ELF-only ToxicLoader) or ARMAX without the discs.
Can anyone elaborate on what ELFs/HDLoader/ and ARMAX are or what they do? I assume HDLoader lets u boot games from a HDD?
