This isn't "how far have you traveled to get to an arcade". This poll is for how far you will typically go, to frequently visit an arcade.

Gameworks is about the farthest I'll travel when I'm back home in Puyallup because I like to go with friends and they prefer playing Street Fighter 4 there, so about 20-40 miles. Pink Gorilla doesn't count because its just up the street from where I'm at currently lol

I used to drive 40 miles to Acme every weekend but since I moved to Tacoma it's only 20 miles away from me

From Redmond, it takes me about 35 minutes to reach AcmeBowl or EvergreenLanes, so I guess that's around 35 miles.

You're driving at 1 mile per hour?

Hmm... miles... no idea what they are in KM.

But in any case, I can either go out west for pump or go into town for ITG or Extreme or broken pump or any other music game.
Pretty much a 15 minute drive in either case, as for other arcades around auckland... not sure. I can't drive myself, and buses aren't particularly cheap.

lol great math.  Going 1 mile a minute would be 60 mph  ;P

Back when I lived in upstate New York I'd take day trips to Tokyo Game Action.  That was 4 hours each way.  But I didn't go frequently, more like once or twice a month.

I haven't been going to arcades frequently at all because my health has been shot to shit in the last six months, but when I was going frequently it was generally about 15-20 miles at most.  I used to make a few 2-hour-each-way trips to CHQ every year, but I haven't gone up to Canada since they started requiring passports; I need to get on that.

Schlagwerk, where in Upstate New York did you live? I'm from Rochester. :O

I'm actually from central PA.  I lived in New Hartford (near Utica) from 2005-2007.  Worst years of my life

...'cept for maybe TGA and seeing TaQ at Carnegie Hall

A bunch of people in Salt Lake recently made a trip down to Vegas just to visit a new arcade. SLC to Vegas is something like a 6 1/2 hour drive, and some of us continue to make that trip every few weeks. Smiley
