Apparently Konami's holding a video contest:

http://www.konami.com/DDRVideoContest/

I doubt many people will enter, so maybe it'll be worth entering?

This has been out for a week or so now and I just can't get behind this at all. I was thinking of some videos that would show the health and social benefits of DDR, but now I just don't want to be associated with this product at all. I clicked the "watch videos" link, and watched the promotional video, and it just makes me so sad and depressed for this series. Perhaps this kind of advertising sells to Konami's new DDR market (soccer moms and the fitness crowd), but it just looks absolutely atrocious and ridiculous to me. Watching some fitness instructor waggle a Wiimote with no rhythm isn't what got me into this game.

Until I see a decent DDR X pad in the US, the last DDR version I'll acknowledge is DDR SN2.

i think it can be done.  all you need is to do a perfect run on faxx or something and do some cheesy mastercard commercial spoof ($ spent on game, hours playing, aaa'ing faxx priceless).  then slow it down to half speed so it doesn't look intimidating to the fitness/soccer mom crowd.

Good idea, but instead of a pro playing FaxX, I'll just have my Mom play any song and get her reaction when she actually passes something for the first time. Then I don't have to do anything to make it appeal to the soccer mom crowd.
