Okay, so the club exists now.

This is the site.

All that is required of each club member is that you register on PIUGame.com, join the club at PIUClub.com, then log into our club site at least 5 times a month. Ideally, we could actually hold events, and if it is properly organized I can register it on their website and get prizes directly from Andamiro (shirts, towels, mousepads). Even if we don't have any events, it would be nice to support the US and help it get to Nationals and of course to WPF07.

I have no problems with registering and posting, and would show up for events as long as it'd be at the Waterfront.

Is there any guidelines on what these events have to be like?  If we get our club, how many people would we need, and would Davyn be able to go to nationals if we do this?

We'd need 15 people (bear with me...). Davyn would be able to go if Andamiro approved the club.

I would, but I'll be living in Portland. :C What are the requirements? Is it a pretty big commitment?

All that's really required of you is to register and log into the site at least 5 times a month, posting if possible, since that earns the club points. Doesn't matter where you live either, this would be a regional club, as in the entire pacific northwest.

Events just refers to tournaments, at least for us. I just used that word since that's what they use in all the rule documentation.

The points system is used to evaluate a club to determine which ones deserve the most support. You get points for logging in, posting on the forums, and uploading photos and videos of tournaments. The more points you have the more support you get from Andamiro, eventually reaching the point where they'll send you money to have events. But like I said, all that's required is simply logging in at least 5 times per month.

I'd love to help, but I'm 300 miles away from the waterfront (don't know of any other locations).  However, if it helps I'm looking to move to west side of state within a year.

At any rate, I'm registered.  SO if there is a club, what's the name and I'll join.  I'm not very good at Pump and I could probably never show up to play.

What with Kyle Ward living in Vancouver (I understand he's a pretty awesome Pump player), perhaps we could throw together a partner club in Portland.  There's a guy at my school who kills on Pump too.  He seems to be about as good on Pump as 1un4r or ManyMiniMoos are on DDR.  I don't know him personally, but he goes to Ultrazone often, so maybe I'll look for him there.  He's easy to pick out because he's, like, 4' 6". (high school senior or junior)
I'm sure there are enough adamant PIU players in Portland to constitute a PIU club.  I'll be interested in joining too, after I build myself a PIU platform and get some Pump songs for SM. Smiley

I'd be interested as long as it doesn't require too much commitment.  Is there anything other than logging into the site 5 times a month?

I'm still seeing if there's enough people for it to get accepted, otherwise it's a waste of time. In the mean time, if you have any ideas for names, go ahead and share.

Just fill out your profile accurately and upload a real photo of yourself.

That reminds me of when I was talking with davyn about it

me: "so you play with korean girls every now and then right?  Do only koreans play pump?"
davyn: "there's some mexicans too"
me: "so just koreans and mexicans"
davyn: "yeah actually"

What? There are people at your school who actually play any music game? This is unheard of!

I voted "No" just because a fatty 100% isn't truly accurate of everyone in the forum. Not everyone likes PumP.

Yes, I've played it many hours, long enough for me to know it's not my favorite dancing game.
