Oh hai,

If you're in the Seattle area and you're looking for a better pad, I've got a Cobalt Flux for sale. I'm only looking for $110 for it, as it's heavy and I don't want to deal with ebay shipping.

It comes with a USB / PS2 control box and everything works in good shape.

Here it is, sitting snugly in the back of my car, waiting for your feet to stomp to the beat! https://i.imgur.com/3OiEmNy.jpg

First offer gets it!

Many thanks to echohack for the pad! Now, to find a way to fix a bad sensor...

On my CF it is just two metal plates that make contact when pressed. I think all you have to do is unhook the plate, bend it a bit so it's concave and put it back in place. Other people have used pennies (I think) to make contact between the two plates. I never did this because I thought over time the pressure of the penny on the same spot could damage the metal plates.

The pad is the same as yours, I believe. I'll try that, thanks Suko.

Before I start, any tips or can I just remove it from the velcro and bend it with my hands?

Well, look carefully before doing anything. When I did this mod it was literally 10 years ago, so my memory is hazy. Just take it apart 1 step at a time and don't bend the metal too much. Just a bit and test it.

I think I commented on your reddit post as well. Is the pad still available?
