Nearly all the ITG2 machines have terrible USB problems. It's just how it is. I own a dedicab and it hardly loads USB profiles. I strongly suggest you drastically reduce the number of songs you want to load from the USB. Start with 10 or so and hope for the best.

Sadly I put on a total of 1 song. (was in .ogg and had .sm steps, under 2 minutes, and I pointed the .sm to the ogg as opposed to the original mp3) IIRC the song I tested was Diamond Dust. I'll treat it well
