Yay!!! I'm super excited. I've got to get back to playing regularly again. I have been only been able to play about once or twice a week now. This definitely gives me some motivation to get my head back in the game.

Sara we need to hang out again Smiley

I'm assuming the DDR tourny will be on Andy's Supernova cabinet.

Any idea at present as to what the no-bar Pump tourny could include.. For instance would participants be playing Stepmania with 9-panel metal pads?

It would be PIU Fiesta on legit arcade pump pads. However, this is currently up in the air due to technical difficulties with the pads.

Hey Sara,

I'm glad you are holding another tournament! I just hoping I can make it!  Sad

Started a new job and I work over the weekend, Fri-Sun I work to 4PM and have to drive back down to Tacoma/University Place about 1 hour. Is the tournament set up the same as the last?

Make sure you register for Lanfest here, same as before, so we can assign you a seeding number to pick your timeslot.

Hey Abbye, Chris, Kevin,

Here are all the remaining timeslots. Let me know what your preferences are! (unfortunately the longer you wait to register, the lower your seeding will be so you might not like your slot if you register too late..)

Super sad day...  Sad

Just found out from Sara that Abbye and I aren't able to compete in this tournament!  Sad

I work during the day through the afternoon and only time Abbye and I are able to play is from 6:30 pm -10:30 pm.  Angry

Wasn't 5:00 pm - 8:0 pm dinner/raffle anyways? Couldn't we just post scores at that time...?

As much as Abbye and I wanted to compete, unfortunately all the time slots are taken up and Abbye and I just won't have the time to play during any other time slot.  Sad

Besides, we don't even have the IWSS 2 Pack available at ACME for us to practice... I guess it just wasn't meant to be.  Undecided

We weren't able to register because our schedules were shifting a ton this month, a lot of changes and transitions (new job/new place). We couldn't commit to a certain time...sigh! Sad

Abbye and I wish all that go good luck and hope you all beast and have a good time!

Represent the West Coast!  Sad

You have to communicate all of this with me. I told you guys to give me a phone call since your situation is complicated. You needed to do this. Or send an e-mail, or communicate on facebook, thats all.

We don't do Facebook because we think its stupid. We communicated with you through texting...does that not count? Abbye has texted you over the course of 2 weeks asking you to hang out, and asking you questions about the tournament. You are the tournament host, we'd expect you to be more proactive and reach out to players. As a tournament host, extreme stress is to be expect. If you can't handle the stress, stop running tournaments.

Before you jump down my throat about running tournaments... I've worked as a tournament host/judge for an extremely popular TCG for a year. Hosting tournaments for 35+ people every Saturday, I understand how stressful this can get. Nevertheless, I did my part to call people to come and join, touched base with people who've registered, and made sure everyone who wanted to participate had the opportunity.

You told Abbye that all slots except 11am and 12pm were taken on Saturday. Typically when the tournament host states that times slots aren't available for us to play, we think that no slots are available. We aren't going to beg for a time. I didn't know we had to negotiate for a spot because you didn't express that to us, how are we supposed to read your mind?

It's not even about the time slots anymore, its about how you are acting towards us.

We didn't want to add extra stress for you. We understood that we registered a week before the tournament, and because we registered later than other people, we ran the risk of losing the chance to pick a time slot that was available to us. Like I said, we couldn't commit to a time earlier due to changes in our schedules.

We've already paid to go, so we will be there to hang out with people and to cheer them on.

Please stop dragging this out, I absolutely HATE drama... This is unnecessary stress for you and I.

I don't know about you, but I want to move on and leave this behind. Water under the bridge. Your choice.

Tony and I (the people with access to the machine) don't play stamina/footspeed stuff and didn't think of it. I can't speak for Tony, but this is the first time I've noticed that someone wants it on the machine. Let one of us know next time and one of us will make it a priority. Smiley

Thanks Ben!  Cheesy

I guess it was my fault for assuming that Sara and Tony spoke to one another about the tournament.
