Gameworks Music Game Meetup!

So I thought it'd be cool if we could get some music game players together for some playing at GW sometime soon.

This event will take place at 6pm on July 7th (which is this Saturday).

Things to Consider:

Are there still any deals that would require people to go at a certain time or date?
When can people make it?
What time is best?

Would anyone want to go out for dinner (Red Robin or whatever) afterwards?

Hopefully this won't end up being mediocre like the last meetup I tried to organize. That being said, I think all of us had a lot of fun! GW sucks a lot less now, so I think it's safe to say this will be good.

I do believe that Tony and I would be in for almost any time. Red Robin is good for both of us (we pretty much eat there once a week whether you guys are with us or not.)

Or we could go to The Cheesecake Factory, which is next door and will give you a ten dollar plate of food that will last for like 6 meals. Whichever. 8D

Ah! I totally forgot about The Cheesecake Factory. If people eat anywhere, it should be there.

I'm going to slice out two times now; even though they'll be in the poll I'm not going to consider them as votes.

I'm probably going on Saturday, but I'm probably going to whore out the Pop 'n until closing. Tongue

Still vote on a time, it'd be good to know when you'd be there.

I plan on going to Gameworks on sat too, but in the morning.  I mainly want to play me some Pop'n.

EDIT: I will not be moving the event to sunday. I just realized that my friend is flying in from Canada that day. Sorry!

Thank you! I've always wished to be brushed by the words of a true intellectual such as yourself!

Sorry, I didn't have any plans to do anything crazy this year. Besides, it's really fun to have tada try to insult my intelligence.

PROTIP: Session is borked.

The session play volume settings are... mute. DM plays drum sounds, GF plays guitar sounds, otherwise there is no sound.

4th of July is just another day for me, except louder.

Besides, fireworks are a waste of money in my opinion.

Did you try to get them to fix it?

Topic title changed because I didn't want people to be under the impression that they'd feel left out if they don't play GFDM.

Maybe if there were more special days in your life you'll have less time to spend attempting derogatory insults towards me.

My last post wasn't aimed at zeppy.

I still plan on going to this.

Does anyone know of cheaper parking near GameWorks than the 7th and pike garage?

After 4pm on weekdays, and I think all day on weekends, the Pike Tower garage is only $5.

I wish I had my u-pass still, I would much rather just park at UW and bus it.

Wouldn't you have to go to Summer quarter to get one during... summer?

I wish I had known they were getting these games earlier, or that I would have been lazier turning in the U-Pass.  But then again, it still might be worth it to bus... $2.78 for parking, and $1.25 each way is only $5.28 for all day.

Go up Pike (across I-5) and park on the street (free on Sunday/Holidays/after 4pm IIRC).  Street parking is of course extremely hard to get, but it's worth a look (that's where I parked yesterday).
