if i was guaranteed this will be a huge turnout, id definitely try to make it out there. but i've heard of tournaments before which was planned to be huge but ended up having a dozen or so people show up

its not til the beginning of september. they are just trying to advertise everywhere to make it as big as possible. but i definitely understand where you are coming from. just keep checking back and see how things get put together.

Carpooling: saves babies.

Well september huh? With that much notice, it is remotely possible that I will show up. My parents support my didder pplaying and are suually willing to drive me to tourny's, but utah may be a bit far...

My GP's were willing to drive me, pay gas, and lodge me for LG5, but that didn't happen.

I'm hoping they'll be willing to transport me if I pay gas ($120; ouch) and shit.  It's still about 800 miles. Dx

Well if I do go, and it's a real small turnout, Imma go ape-shit and kill someone. But I'm assuming ther'll be lots of pplz there.

New plan: I'm going to see if we can organise to offer up 2 DT500's to the 1st place winner, in exchange for the sponsor paying transportation and lodging.  If I do that, I can even miss school for it and write it off as a business trip.

seriously, I've always wanted toplay where the screen was ona  huge projector scren thing of some sort. that'd rock. Now I desperately want t go there.

and its almost a guarantee we will have some IIDX there as well as possibly some popn. but definitely some IIDX at least cuz i love me some IIDX.

IIDX is very fun. But i have yet to play popn, so if i can make it,and ther is popn, I'll be one happy guy.

If there's a carpool I might just consider going if I don't have to sink much money in.  BUt odds are I can't go because I'm planning on moving to Bellingham around then.
