Saw this posted on Z-i-V...
http://konamiplay.eventbrite.com/
Konami event at 7pm at the EMP/Sci Fi museum in Seattle, WA.
You are invited to an exclusive night of games and music, featuring the newest additions to KONAMI's titles! Enjoy drinks and raffle prizes, in addition to being the first to experience new DanceDanceRevolution, Pro Evolution Soccer, and Karaoke Revolution: Glee content.
I'm not sure what will be there, but might be worth checking out.

How'd you find out about this, and why wasn't it advertised?!

If anyone goes to this, you should a.) bug the reps about a DDRX2 AC port to consoles and b.) for Konami to come to PAX Prime in the fall.

Got my tickets as well!!!
I'll bother them about PAX. It really has been sad they don't make an appearance in general. Not just for music games, but all their other stuff as well

Yeah. Last year I wanted to try out Castlevania and Hardcore Uprising, but I guess Konami didn't feel like it was an important enough convention.
Looks like the official DDR page on Facebook posted about the event as well...

sounds like they'll be showing off some home console games...
although if they bring a ddrx2 that'd be nice as well.

I asked Naoki on Facebook if he knew anything about this event, he said he doesn't know anything about it. So I wouldn't expect any new content.

I honest am curious why Konami is doing this instead of a normal booth at a convention. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Our PNWBemani crowd was about 1/3 of the main group there. And sadly with those odds, none of us won any of the 3 raffle prizes.
There wasn't a lot to do at the event. Glee Karaoke 2 overpowered any DDR we wanted to play the whole night too. :\ That silly game only had about 12 songs in it too.

Does anyone else still have remnants of the hand stamp they used at the event? It still hasn't come completely off my hand!

Yes, I still have a shadow of it. Which is odd, because within the first 30 minutes it had started to rub off of my hand due to sweat, but now it seems like a nearly permanent tattoo.

Yup, it's still all over my hand. I've showered about three times since then and given it a good scrubdown all of those times, too. Ah well, I got sweet wristbands; totally worth it.

Unless the stamps on our hand cause cancer...then the armbands might not be as worth it as you previously though.

A little hardcore scrubbing got mine off completely.
Evidence of us AAA'ing it ^^;
Perhaps a waste of 2 minutes with photoshop, but it was based of an
original pic
I took there. For some reason, shoes on soft pads made it impossible any of us to full combo any heavy song there >. >

Some liquid hand soap (undiluted) and rubbed over the whole stamp, then left to site for 30 seconds got most of it the day after. The shadow that was left is gone now from day to day handwashing/showering.
