Posting to let you all know that there's a big music game tournament event which will be held in Vegas during the New Years holiday.

G2 - Gemini 2 Lock-In, Rythem Game, and Fighting Game Tournments.
Hosted by: Steven (Nevets). (As well as the Las Vegas Dance Game Community.)
Thursday, December 30th, Saturday, January 1st, and Sunday, January 2nd.
Qualifying: Friday ALL day. First come, first serve basis.
Tournaments: Saturday 12PM until everything is finished.
Lock-in: Thursday December 30th, all day and night.

IIDX 17 (Sirius.)
Pop'n Music 17 (The Movie.)
Marvel Vs Capcom 2.
(Also Smash, since it has been brought up.)

I don't know how many people are interested in such an event, but if anyone wants to take a couple of extra days off of work, Tony and I would totally drive down for this if we could get a couple of people to share a car/hotel with us.

I don't know how sharing the driving responsibility would work with our current insurance plan for our current car, but if anyone's interested I could find out. Smiley

That Sirius tournament sounds interesting but ugh Vegas. WHY MUST YOU TEMPT ME?!

Hey, if anyone was interested in getting a hotel room for this event, you should probably book it now since new years in Vegas tend to be pretty busy. You'll find that hotels that are off of the strip are a little cheaper. Some of us Utah people may decide to get a hotel room or two as well, so let me know and we might all pitch in. Smiley
