im not a bad drunk so you might not even tell when i am drunk but i dont want to be kicked out of the con for being intoxicated.

Hey I need a hotel room to throw my arcade boards and ASCs and whatnot that I'm bringing to the con in. Of course you'd get to use the ASCs if you give me use of your room on Friday. If anyone's staying in a room, lemme know if you're interested! I have money, too. I just got yelled at a bunch last year for leaving things in the staff area and I'd honestly rather keep $1000 of controllers in a locked room instead of Sakuracon's areas when I'm not using them.

Con policy is that you're not allowed to be intoxicated on Con grounds. I don't see how that could be enforced if nobody can tell that you are drunk, though.

now laura...  you should get on aim or tell me what i need to do to get all this arcade staff junk setup.  Do i need to do anything special the before the con?  i will not be able to drive up there until the con so if i need to do some kinda ritual then i may be s.o.l :C

I'm Portland-based and considering going to Sakuracon based on if I can execute my costume plan to a level of satisfaction I can be happy with.  I don't have a room worked out yet so this could work for me.

Bar hopping could also be fun.  Must...resist...doing...it...in...costume!

Hah! I would definitely bar-hop in costume. Then again, I'm dressing up as Misa from Death Note, so... not much different than what people wear to clubs and stuff anyway.

I was willing to chip in a good amount of money so we can have a variety of drinks. But maybe we should just save our money for other things like food. We should get like a 30 rack of Milwaukee's Best which is around $15. The alcohol content is 6% so it should get you buzzed/fucked up pretty fast. Plus it's pretty good for being one of the lower brands
