From phpBB's FAQ: "The board is not designed to handle the changeovers between standard and daylight time so during summer months the time may be an hour different from the real local time."

In other words you have to go in manually and change it yourself to GMT -7.

Changing the system board time only applies to non-registered/logged in users, so whatever is set in your profile has to be adjusted for daylight savings. I can see if there's a mod to adjust everything for DST later.

DST is the worst bullshit I can see.

it saves energy, by giving us an extra hour of daylight during the day, so lights get used less. (we all sleep an hour earlier, so we turn off our lights then and it saves energy. Good idea once you think about it.
