That'll happen when you beat a record by a single step judgement.

I now have 2 months of playing under my belt since my 5 year hiatus (temporary retirement), and while I have no scores to brag about, I CAN say that I've lost about 7 pounds and I can do some 11's on single and almost every 10 on double. Slowly but surely, I'll be back where I was, hopefully better.

(I used to be able to squeak passes on single 13's and double 12's. My goal is to surpass that and beat single 14's and double 13's while drastically improving my FA. It's a longshot, sure, but goals are always nice.)

I haven't posted here in a long while, but tonight I decided to forgo the super hard stuff and focus on my accuracy again. I ended up surprising myself quite a bit. These two scores were my best, though.

No bar, no hax, blah blah blah, etc.

Pad miss before the run. Sad day. Also this song is synced a tad late, I can now decisively make this claim.

I know it's completely tedious, but I have personally resynced EVERY song that is on my computer, every single one, and that's well over 1,000. I too found Chromatic Blitz roughly 4 to 5 milliseconds late.

Also, congratufuckinglations on FCing a 14. If you don't mind me asking, what's your ReaF singles score? I personally find it the hardest 13 in existence, the gatekeeper to 14's if you will, but maybe I'm just bad at that kind of chart.

99.33 ReRave CZ

I always have a high perfect count -_-.

Argh!! Almost...

Not legit, I know. I just wanted to see what the end would look like spaced.

So ends rigorous training...

EDIT: In later news, after the tourney I ventured down to Acme and pulled a 71.10 on Mad Matt's Gravity Blast. My goodness! It's so damn hot in that arcade! X_X

I haven't played ReaF in over 2 years hehe... Mostly because it's a horrible song and a horrible chart and was horribly offsync on the Acme machine, but I think it may be almost time to give it another go, however I need assurances it's actually on-sync now. And really I'd say Chromatic is about the easiest 14s *should* get while not being a 13. I'd think the gatekeeper to 14s would need to be a 14 itself!

Yes, this is Stepmania 5, so this is definitely a home score. I used my pad and a chair for a bar. SM5 calculates score percentage harsher than ITG for whatever reason, so 16ex on an ITG machine is actually 99.25.

So, with the recall, this is my first Tri-star FEC in my comeback! I know it's totally not legit since it's on a home pad linked to a computer, but hey. If you don't believe that 16ex is 99.25, put it in the score calculator yourself. Like I said, SM5 is harsher

Arcade or not, it's still a solid score. Good job.

And Gerrak, stop being so damn awesome at ITG. Seriously, start wearing weights or something while you play.

I just passed Max 300 on heavy for the first time ever in my life.

I realize that doesn't carry the same weight as it did back in 2001 since people are now passing 15 foot songs but I'm totally stoked.  I've only been playing for a few months after taking a four year break.  When I stopped playing, I was struggling with some of the harder 9 foot songs.

I've also recently passed Xepher on heavy.  On PIUPRO I've recently passed EternuS, Tribal Style, and We are Loud, all on crazy.  It feels good to be moving up into 10 foot songs and to finally have one of the MAX songs under my belt.  I'm gonna try for Maxx Unlimited next.

Score-wise I did this recently:

I want to break 98.00% on it.

Thought I would share some scores. I haven't been playing much in the last month, but last I played in Boise I was AA'ing Para Respect with a full combo.
These are some scores form Dec 2011 till now.

Got photo's of better MA with SDG.

Most proud of this because I can remember a time where I would consistently scores in the mid 20 greats for a single song.

I understand your elation. It took me years to pass that song. I was so jazzed when I passed it, too. Congratulations.

Some new scores I got on Tom's machine yesterday. I swear, his machine makes me feel like pro. I don't know if it's the timing windows, new hardware, or what.

Almost a quad...

Again, almost a quad...

The timing windows, though ultimately a very small change, do make a seemingly big difference for those of us with pretty accurate timing already, since most of the excellents we get are right on the threshold anyway. Don't get me wrong, I had 5 quads prior to the change at Acme so it's not that drastic of an adjustment, but I also quadded 2 more songs I'd had 1 excellent on within a week of the change (Little Red Riding Hood and Wam Bam Boogie).

What you should really do though is hit down-down and play those same songs again, since the expert charts are good too and not quite so simple!
