And no offense meant to Tony and his accomplishments, but this is why I don't participate in tournaments much anymore. I just can't put that kind of time or dedication into preparing for a tournament. I spend maybe 3 to 5 hours of practicing before any tournament I participate in, if that.

I still feel that I can be a competitive player, but I just don't have the time (or interest) to play ~30 tournament songs over and over again, just to be competitive at them. If we ever do a blind/random/sight read tournament, I'll be all over that sh*t.

I'm game for any tournament, so long as it's free to enter & scheduled during time I can attend

Also I two upped my Summer Score on Pro 2, it was like a 96 something with 3 non combos and under 90 perfects.

My goodness... I don't think I'm gonna stand a ghost of a chance this tournament >_<... those scores...

Thanks NSX! Should be a fun tournament! I'm not expecting to do as well because these are all done and on an upgrade cab that has super flush/perfect pads.
My understanding is the dedicab's pads are much more recessed.

Also, if I'm not running my modded version of the ITG3 theme, I usually go with ITG Retro.

Have you tried Jayce's new theme GrooveNights? It has some really cool features and uses Retro as the frame work.

Andy, is your machine an upgrade cab or dedicab? Is it running the original hardware or a new PC? I'm just curious, because these things can make a HUGE factor in how well I do with my scoring.

Also you should make sure you use the original syncing for the songs if you intend to do well come tournament-time! I dunno if you use resynced versions of the packs like some. And yes, a lot of other machine/metric factors can affect scores like these, though they are some impressive quads there regardless
