Sorry Chris I haven't played much in the last 3 weeks because of sickness/our machine being sent to an expo/the pads being an issue/and now the boxor is down.

It's funny though, I still don't feel like I'm good enough to post elsewhere, ha ha. It's hard because I watch a lot of Mad Matt, Happyfeet, Parrax, and Zerotux videos and I am not even close to what they can do. I always tell myself that "I need to get better, always, always get better."

There is a famous golfer by the name of Ben Hogan and he said a quote that I personally live by. It goes like this:

"Every day you miss playing or practicing is one day longer it takes to be good."

Every day that I feel under the weather, or I feel lazy, or just plain not in the mood to play, I repeat this to myself... Hopefully, one day I can play an 18, 19, hell even a 20 and pass it, maybe beat a score Mad Matt holds.

I feel like the more you play the harder this game gets. I fail 3 of the 4 videos I've posted tonight, but I always remind myself that I can't get better unless I try to push myself further. I get knocked down but I get back up and try, and try again! 

This is me playing Marunouchi Survivor (18). This is a sightread for me and unfortunately I fail it. It is very, VERY, difficult, but I know that I'm going to pass this within the year.

Astrofalcon... This is probably one of my favorite 16's on the machine. The song is fun and it is full of 24th! When I work on foot speed I try to focus on staying steady and try to maintain my form. I want to look like a robot!

This video is of Exam Cram (16)! The 24th notes get rather ridiculous. This speed for me is very hard simply because I try to time my steps. 150 bpm 24th notes translates into 225 bpm, and attempting to maintain my timing while moving fast is extremely draining. 225 bpm is slow enough for me to want to time, but fast enough to exhaust me.

ARGH! Love Hurts (17) was a goal song of mine since 2011! I'm finally fast enough to even attempt this brutal, BRUTAL song! It is fast and it is constant. The combination of both is extremely demanding. I almost pass it but that slow down through me off. Going from a drastic slow down to speeding back up to 240 bpm was a difficult transition.

i got this really good score over at the B&I last Saturday. i didn't even realize i got 0 greats on this until i looked at the screenshot later. it's my first 9 done on pad where i got 0 greats as far as can remember...

P.S. the hardest official songs i can do on ITG are basically hard 9s and easy 10s right now. i used to be able to clear Robotix Expert and VerTex^2 Hard, which are 11s, but those are still locked currently... which reminds me that i need to look up those unlock codes and get that stuff unlocked ASAP...
