I still don't know how to ride a bike. I finally have someone who can teach me though, and a tandem bike on which to learn.

I had that problem when I had plastic handles. I bought some better ones and don't have that issue anymore. Try that?

Mah bike has dysfunctional tires, so when I rode up to Big Als mit Charlie, I had to borrow his (non-hawt) friend's bike and the fricken pedal fell off, but otherwise it  was a good bike.
