PARTY CANCELED, MOOT THREAD <3

I'm having people over. Bemani kids are welcome. Please send me an email, as I'm less excited about putting my address on a public forum. Tongue I can give pretty simple directions from any-which way. There'll be music, bemani, whatever. There is also the chance of alcohol, assuming you're over 21 (Wink). If you want to drink, try to BYOB, but we do have some here.

Games include DDR (Strike, SN, and hacked ITG), IIDX (lots of versions including 11th and 12th), and a few other oddities (Katamari, Frequency, etc.). I have 2 PS2s, but only one has softmod+hard drive, and only 1 DDR pad. There's a 27" TV in my bedroom, and a 398049785453945" projector in the theater room. If you wanna come hang out that would be epic, but I'm not expecting many since it's so last minute.

EDIT!> I have Karaoke Revolution, but I only have Vol. 1. If anyone wants to come and let us make use of any other volume (excluding the country one), that would be epic^2.
Edit 2> If you have a PS2 and would like it softmoded, bring a memory card and a PS1 game. I can hook ya up. Wink

1. Schedule in advance.
2. I don't go to parties with alcohol or any other type of drugs (and neither do many people here).

1. This was a get-together for my friends. I decided to open the invitation to the Bemani crowd.
2. Drugs arn't allowed in this house, and as mentioned in 1, this is just an open invite to pnwbemani.

No one is getting crazy drunk, no one is doing drugs. It's just hanging out and playing video games.

By 'The Chance of Alcohol', you implied that people, whether they should or not, would have access to it, and that isn't a good thing.

I don't let 15 year-old children drink, that's a given. I'm assuming that people are responsible enough to know what's right and wrong on their own. In reality, this was in invitation to Bemani people that I already know. I do screen my guests before they come over, ya know.

There's also a reason I even mentioned that there *might* be some; I don't want people who, for whatever reason, don't want to be exposed to it, to be. If you don't like it then don't come. Simple.

Dang, sounds kind of interesting, but chances look slim.

You're in Oly still, right? I could come get you, since no one else has shown, but then it'd be just us. :\

Change of plan. None of my original friends are coming, except some that haven't gotten back to me. So I'm going to do something else. Party canceled, sorry. Sad

I know it's cancelled, but seriously, even one DAY in advance is ridiculous, much less one hour.

C'mon guys, lighten up.  I doubt he was expecting some kind of huge response to his invitation (at least I HOPE he was) =P since it was last minute and all.

I'm up for a party with alcohol at it, but you're 20, Freq =P so no alcohol for you (lolz) ^_~  Anyhow, I'll keep an eye out for invites from you in the future, particularly if they're posted earlier, since you're in Renton which isn't too far from me and all.

The notice is unfortunate, but I don't find it ridiculous. It's better than no invitation at all, sometimes things like this happen spontaneously -_-

Maybe we can all do something fun for a party in the future, and yeah, I too am down for drinking... shirley temples, that's right.

Seriously, giving too negative a response to postings like this will discourage people from doing things for the community.  I think it was cool.  Thanks, Freq.

It's just criticism.  No one's going to be able to make it to an event that was both started and cancelled in the span of a relatively short Acme visit.

I'd be interested in one of these events, but please, give us more time to plan around it.  As for drinking, I'd be fine if there was a little (I myself wouldn't), but if everyone's going to be piss drunk off their ass, I'd probably have to pass.

Thanks. I was just a little taken back at the sudden hostility for asking if anyone wanted to come. It'd be different if I was planing a party for pnwbemani people, obviously.
