Freq's party invite got me curious: How many of our forum members do(n't) drink alcoholic beverages?

I just wanted to do this out of my own interest, but this might actually be some useful data to refer to if anyone's not sure whether or not a booze party will work out for forum members, or something.

And hopefully the simple answers of "yes" or "no" aren't too black and white. I guess there's no middle, is there?

I also hope this will be an interesting discussion and not be mega arguing. To each his own, I think people should be able to respect others' choices to (not) drink. Smiley There are young teens here, but the age range goes up to adults, too, so there are some people here who drink (and I don't think it's going to keep itself concealed or anything in the community). Of course, I am not necessarily promoting drinking or illegal things, etc. :p

So, well, I hope no one feels weird about this thread/poll. I feel like I'm maybe stepping a boundary but my curousity is getting the best of me o_O Um, so I apologize if anyone feels... offended?

We should try to get 8 people.  At least then it will be $3.75/person/hour pre-tax.  A 9th person would only bring that down to $3.67 (then more would make it asymptotically closer to $3.00), but getting to 8 people would be pretty significant.

I'm not really a leader-type person, so I'd rather have someone else organize this. Tongue I'd prefer a Saturday.

Of course the more the better, I was merely giving an example.

So I can do this anytime; do we want to set up a thread for this?

We should at least get a date here first, IMO.  This thread's been off-topic long enough though, so maybe we should make another thread, discuss there, and edit the first post once we get a date.

Oh of course.

Okay well then let's start a new thread.  I'll start it in 5 minutes if you don't.
