It's not being made by Capcom of America, so that gives me hope. I hope they go more in the play style of Super Turbo or Alpha 2, if only so I don't have to listen to people whine about parries all the live-long day.

Also, if Chun-Li is in it, I'm sure she'll be hideously broken. Again.

if it had the same graphics or at least visual style of that trailer it would be cool.

i've only played street fighter on snes.

Been done, and it was GHEY. So says the Zangief clone who does an inverted crab pelvic bounce instead of a spinning pile driver.

..though it did lead to lots of drunken fun when a college buddy who could pull it off all the time played that character and I played a guy whose throw involved him straddling someone and slamming them against the ground repeatedly in tag team rape fests versus the computer.

Street Fighter EX was not made by Capcom.

ANyways, I'll be happy so long as parries are out.

According to something s-kill (head of Capcom's Community Division) said, the trailer seems to use models from the game, but the visual style is just for show. Good thing too, or you couldn't fucking see anything going on.

What that says to me is that it'll probably be like Battle Fantasia and Smash Bros, 3D models on a 2D plane. That's really the best I can hope for, since Street Fighter EX was awful and The King of Fighters Maximum Impact games are only slightly less awful.
