So some dudes had a lady to swoon over for V-day. Others did not. Many of us try to get a lady, but are met with "UR DOING IT WRONG!!" and "epic fail". Some words of wisdom from the lady-types would be much appreciated.

Oh man, it's awful watching hot girls on a forced-widescreen display. Sad

I noticed when I'm a little, uh, "tranquilized", I get pretty mellow and social. I seem to be more popular with the ladies then. Coincidence?

hi :p

I don't see the point in asking ladies to post, I think there's more than enough advice from guys. Said it better than I could, ha.

Hey. The grooves of a woman are always welcome. Smiley

Part of it was probably to confirm that ladies still posted, and weren't scared away from us.

More precisely in this case, homonyms.

Where are the homonyms?

'cause I said through instead of threw, AKA I fucked my homophones. (same+sound)

Oh is that what you meant? I thought you meant Freq's use of homonyms to play off of your use of "groove."

This forum is a sausagefest. Too bad we can't seem to get more females here.

Seconded.  I might force Sawpea to join. . . if her computer's not still dead.

Other than her, I don't know many Bemanigirls. =(

Bemanigirls exist... most of us just don't really know what kind of love advice to give guys, since, were we not oddballs in the romance department, we probably wouldn't play Bemani games. Wink

You'd think it'd make the few girls here either very happy or constantly bothered and annoyed. Smiley

I don't know how many other females here I speak for, but my problem is that anyone else I'd invite here would be, well, a guy. I don't actually have many female friends (with the exception of ones who I met through Bemani.)

Ditto. :?

I dunno... I think many women see men as being predators and thus feel uncomfortable being surrounded by them.  As simplistic and frustrating as this view is, I've heard it expressed by several of my female colleagues (as I work in a woman-poor field).  Their (hopefully skewed) experience has taught them that sex is omnipresent in such an environment, and that going into that environment with hopes of accomplishing anything other than being a sex object is asking for it.

I mean, I hate to be blunt, but my companion looked over my shoulder, pointed to BBH's custom title, and went, "WHY do they not understand why there aren't any girls here?"  Considering that my companion is male, this says a lot. Tongue
