Well, it's time for the annual migration of the ITG2 dedicab. It's been at Tom's place for a year and now he's moving. As such, we need to get it out of the current location and into a Uhaul so I can get it to it's new home. Unfortunately, this year we will only have Tom, Dan, and myself to move the machine as one of his roomates who could usually help has pulled a tendon in his arm and obviously can't do any heavy lifting.

Do any of you think you might be available to lend us a hand either later this week or (more likely) this weekend? We don't need a TON of people, but if I could get one or two of you to help the three of us, that should be more than enough to safely move the machine without excessive trouble.

If anyone thinks they could help, just let me know. Thanks!

I'd be happy to help, though I honestly have no idea how much I can lift anymore.

I'm still trying to nail down a definite day for the move, because Tom, Dan and I work, it'll probably have to be this Saturday. The machine will be moved from Tom's house in Redmond to my house in Mukilteo. We mostly need the help to get the machine out of his house and into the truck. I don't think getting it out of the truck and into my garage will be too troublesome.

Soooo, to those who offered to help that aren't entirely eager to travel all the way up to Mukilteo, keep this in mind.

Keby, would you need a ride, or do you have a way of getting to Tom's?

I could bus my way over to redmond, but I don't know exactly were he lives, I've only been there once.

A ride would be nice though.

I go from Redmond to Mukilteo all the time, and I have a friend up there who would likely be able to lend a hand (he can lift a bit more than I).

I usually get off work by 1pm on Saturday, so if you're not planning to do it in the morning, I'd be happy to lend a hand.

Thanks for the offer guys. With the weather the way it is, things are a bit hazy atm. I'm planning to move it sometime mid-day Saturday. Sometime between 11 - 2. I'll be sure to post on here on Friday with my final plan. I'm hoping the weather will be OK on Sat for the move. So, please check back here Fri afternoon if you're interested in helping and I'll be sure to post more info then.

OK, assuming the rain doesn't hang around longer than the weather guy predicts, we'll try to move the machine around 1pm tomorrow. I will be @ Tom's place in Redmond early to break the machine down into easier-to-manage parts. We'll then load it into a truck and take it up to my place and put it into my garage.

Who's still willing to do this? Let me know and I'll PM you the address and details.

I'm up for helping if I can. I should be able to make it over to Redmond from my work in Kirkland by around 1:15.

Is packing/unpacking a U-Haul the plan at this point?

Yes, if by packing/unpacking you're referring to getting the machine into and out of the Uhaul =D
