February 04, 2007, 09:43:30 AM - ORIGINAL POST -

Rules are here:

http://70.85.192.194/~loogsla/twg.shtml

We're going to be using a two wolf, one seer format.

24 hours to vote, 24 hours for a kill.

Post here if you're game. If we have enough people by the end of the night, I can send out roles and this this shebang started.

I think I'm going to maintain a Tada vote for now.  I'll make it obvious if I change my mind.

Even then, I doubt he would use admin powers to "cheat" and/or sway votes. I'm sure it was just off topic discussion or something.

If you guys really wanted to think about it, I could go in the sql database and look at all the pms Jon sent out and know who's who. haha, I'm not that much of an asshole though, and I'm sure Jonathan isn't either.

Since I didn't see Jerrad's post (again) before I posted mine, there's no way Jerrad or I would cheat. And deleting posts is way more obvious than checking the back end for pm's. haha

Okay okay okay, so I'm really trying to figure out why Pantsu was the target.  It could just be an elaborate decoy, but I'm looking for any connections here, and I just wanted to bring up this post on page4.

Of course, it seems peeps here are ganging up on people with poor logical skills, and I'm certainly not throwing my weight behind a pantsu's hand was dipped by tada=tada is guilty arguement.

But I'm gonna keep reviewing here.  We still got til 6 pm right?

Wow, noone's really brought anything else up yet?  Well everyone is probably sleeping in =P
I may be busy later so I'll chip my vote in now for cynic

Nope, but some of us are busy at the moment looking into study abroad programs.

Oh shi-, I mean, working.

Back on topic, I may be buying into some MAD here, but I'm going to vote for Lhet.  His accusation of me very early on is awful suspicious.  Not to mention, the killing of Zach seemed to be out of nowhere, probably to get the suspicion off of him, because killing me would make things too obvious.

Study abroad programs...in Japan?  Sony is headquartered in Japan, you SONY employee!

Wait, so it Nintendo.

Ah well, thought I had something there for a moment.

One reason I sometimes 'jump on the bandwagon' is because if you just go for a hunch that only you have, there's no chance anything will happen.
But, I think I'll vote for Cynic He's voted against me twice, and that's not nice.

Since DMN didn't seem to see the vote in my last post, I better make it stand out more:

Lhet.

Read my last post for the reason why.

Unless he posts within the next minute, he gets an auto-vote against him.

EDIT: Well, it's past midnight... Looks like someone's got a phantom vote.

Lhet (2) - Jerrad, Tada
Jerrad (3) - BlueSS, Chris, Lhet

BlueSS (1) - Laura
tada (1) - DT
DT (1) - Phantom
Ancsik (1) - Phantom

The run-off is between Cynic and Lhet; Laura, DT, and Tony need to re-vote by 6pm tonight.

Please look at the evidence remaining voters:

Cynic and tada voted for lhet the first night. Their reason was just as good as anyone else's that first night.

Then the night kill comes and they kill pantsu, hoping to get a little blame off of themselves because pantsu was one of the people who voted with them, so it wouldn't make sense if they killed him (thus trying to put suspicion on someone else).

Then the next day comes and the two both return and vote exactly the same again, both for lhet. I can tell you that it is easy to see lhet is not a wolf due to the way he's constantly been unsure of who to vote for. Sure he could be playing some game to trick us, but it's easy to see it's also not him when the other two are sticking out like sore thumbs. The vote for lhet was an attempt to try to get the votes they didn't get last time, but they forgot that taking out one that voted with them doesn't help.

Let's get cynic tonight and tada tomorrow and we will win.

I guess I'm still more suspicious of Lhet than Jerrad (though he does stick out a bit), but I wouldn't might finally seeing Tada taken out tomorrow like BlueSS suggests, since he really has been way too jumpy with the accusations this whole time.

So yeah, Lhet needs to stop living.

@DMN: I have a bit of trouble getting to computers on Saturdays, so if we have another Saturday lynching, either try to announce it before 8 on Friday or throw my vote in for whoever has the most votes against them (unless that person is me, then you can shift it to #2) when I don't post.

Hmmm, I still believe Lhet is largely a victim of his own indecisiveness; it's pretty obvious to me he's not a wolf (or if he is, no offense, but he's not good at focusing his targets).  I'm wondering if he'll defend himself?

Well now we just wait and see what Tofu votes for 0_o;;; I'd really like to see what a tie breaker looks like.

I thought you were the one saying I had a lot of experience with this game... I don't know why you'd think me and tada are wolves if our votes matched both times; we're both not that stupid to make something that obvious. :/

And who's saying lhet isn't trying to do the exact opposite, and just making us think he's uncertain to avoid suspicion? The first vote was really just random on my part, I'll admit that... but he's being way too flaky this late in the game to just write it off as being indecisive, IMO.

Anyways, I'm not changing my vote to myself (lol), so it's still lhet.

I think you all are ridiculous for thinking two people voting the same way in two votes is grounds that we're trying to knock someone out of the game.  I am against Lhet because he just jumped right out and voted for me, which was probably intended to get everyone to vote the same way against someone who is a human (would he try and get everyone to vote against a wolf?).

So hey guys, when either Tony, Laura, Chris, Myself or DancingTofu get killed in the night you all know who to get.

And the voting the same does kill you. Because cynic is a wolf, there's no way his fellow wolf would vote for him in a run off like this, and you were the only one to vote with him the first round out of those voting with him now.
I'm 100% sure about cynic, 90% about Tada.

Lhet was definitely human because cynic is voting for him.

If these were true, you really don't get the point of the game... to trick people. You're looking way too much at the obvious, but whatever. I know I'm not going to change your vote. Tongue

By the way, Jon, what happens when there's a tie? Do we just keep revoting until someone has majority, or...?

I think in the rules it mentioned that there's some kind of tiebreaker game the two finalists play; but I kind of want to see what happens. =D

And I think BlueSS gets the point of the game; frankly there are so many levels of tricking.  It's just who believes which level of trickery is currently being used, and which person is currently using it.

If he's following the official rules, it will be some sort of 50/50 game where one person wins and the other loses.  Since we're at Nintendo and all, I'm suggesting that we could have them bet on a game of TA, and whoever picks the winning player stays alive.  For simplicity, let's say it's between Employee A and Employee B who are at equal skill level.

In an interesting turn of events, a loud creaking sound is heard amid the discussion. Lhet turns around to find that DancingTofu had hung himself with an original Xbox controller. Everyone agreed that he seemed quiet.

(for the record, DT is gone for failing to re-vote by the deadline.)

Everyone returns to their desks, more fearful than the last day.

Haha.  Man I'd say whoever the wolves are they so far have a great advantage over the humans in their ability to be the only peeps to actually target their kills; since so far the humans haven't been able to direct any kills; Tyr and Tofu have been the only "lynchings", and they weren't even by any sort of popular vote.
