June 15, 2007, 06:08:50 PM - ORIGINAL POST -

i tried this somewhere else, it ended up being fun for a little while.

concept:

ask a question.  one person at random answers the question and then asks another question.  another person answers that question and asks another question.  etcetera.

retroactive question answering is discouraged.  snooze you lose.

seirous or not serious questions or answers.  doesn't matter.  generally people chose non serious questions.

if someone answers at the same time that someone else answers and thus there are two replies, that's okay.  adds to the chaos and the loose structure, and that's a good thing.

back and forth between two people only is okay but not as fun.  give other people a chance.

whoever posts the 573rd answer and question gets a prize.

Q: What's the last thing you said out loud to someone?

A:  They make me feel uncomfortable and kind of jar my ears, even when people don't mean them to be truly derogatory.

Q:  Do you find it lame that people think it's cool to NOT like things that are deemed cool? Forinstance, people hating Harry Potter without ever reading a book or watching a movie, or hating emo bands without ever listenening to them?

Yes.  If you hate something just because it's popular, that's pretty lame.  If you hate it because you watched it/listened to it and hate it, that's fine.  I hate hip-hop with a fiery passion because I hate the music itself and the culture surrounding it, not because it's popular.  However, there is a little of a grey area for me.  If something is so popular that no one will shut up about it and also refuse to talk about anything else, I'd say it's fine to hate it.  I'm kind of glad I'll be in Japan when the new Harry Potter book is released stateside.

Do you find weeaboo lame?
