- ORIGINAL POST -
So, who is all going this year? I plan on having another IIDX tournament and will probably bring my Pop'n ASC this year for some Carnival action. Pete (Kid Whatever) is DJing at the Saturday night dance, which should be awesome. Other then that, I don't know much about the activities.

7th has late (notes cross the line too late) visual syncing. 6th is incredibly early, I was being sarcastic. Happy Sky has early (notes cross the line early) visual syncing. My favorite style is 10th, closely followed by 9th.

Oh okay, you're just saying they both have "strange" visual synching. I disagree though that 9th is closer to perfect than HS... it's defininitely by your definition earlier than HS :S

9th might be closer due to my hard drive...I only play it on HDLoader. I'll give the actual disc a try tonight, see how it is.

Pre-registration ends on FEB 28. Anyone that wants to do so, has to by then or else you're going to end up waiting in the HUGE lines at the door and paying $60. (And not just the huge lines to pick up your badge a day early anyways.)

You guys should do like I have done every year since '05 and pre-regged on the last day of the con. It's only like $25 then, and your badge number will be really low, which makes you look cool.

I was going to do this the last two years (if I hadn't been on staff), but they always seem pretty secretive about when/where it happens... Or maybe I'm deaf/blind and just miss the announcements.

Yeah, I went to the badge desk at like 3p on sunday and noticed the $25 prereg. I just went ahead and did it. This last year, it the prereg lines for short for badge pickup. I basically entered, grabbed my badge, and was ready to go.

Both times I've done it (at the old Marriott-Hilton setup in '05, and the current WSCTC one in '06), the pre-reg for next year's con has been at the same area where you pick up your badges. I don't know if it's open before Sunday or not...

Nooope. They're like the only non-eurobeat artist on initial d, although they have some eurobeat remixes on the series, I think (they *are* remixes, I believe)
Edit: oh wait THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF GAMBLE RUMBLE (song that plays during the movie demo in initial d 3 arcade game) IS EUROBEAT. Yes I love that song! I hope they perform it. O_O I found an official
para para routine
for it, I'm totally learning this
OMG LAURA LEARN IT WITH ME.

I was just being a grammar nazi in my last post.
But I really didn't know who they are, so the question had an unexpected benefit.

I still want to staff, but I haven't been able to contact Jon. I will be unable to make the meeting on the 25th due to work.
What am I to do?
