So, who is all going this year? I plan on having another IIDX tournament and will probably bring my Pop'n ASC this year for some Carnival action. Pete (Kid Whatever) is DJing at the Saturday night dance, which should be awesome. Other then that, I don't know much about the activities.

Oh man, less than one week! I can't wait! I'm trying to also figure out what I'll eat this year. I'd like to finally try the cheesecake factory... I hope I don't have to wait like an hour to get in there.

I'll be at Sakura-con as well, but since I am going as a panelist, I will be spending a good portion of my time teaching in the Go room (eh, the seattle go center pays for my expenses and i don't have to wait in line to get through so I'm quite happy with it...and Go's also fun ^^; ).
Anyways, I intend to participate in the ITG and Pop'n'Music (though I have NEVER played this game, just doing it because it looks fun =/) tournaments. Hopefully it'll be fun as last year's!

Needs a Pump tourney!
PS: Looking forward to seeing people there, although the first move autographing session happens during the ITG tourney. >_<
PPS: No I don't like move, it's a birthday present for my friend who couldn't make it this year.

I'll ask again, just in case. Anybody got a closet in a hotel room for rent? I mean, I'll survive, whatever the case, but it might make things easier...

Kevin OR Tony:
Upon arriving home, I have one of your official IIDX Happy Sky games in my case... It's the one with the supernova insert still in there if that helps at all.
Anyways, let me know and I'll find some way to get it to you.

I just got back. Hopefully people enjoyed it. Too bad the arcade couldn't work out well this year. I think our little BEMANI corner was good enough though. I wanted to go to the IIDX tournament, but I somehow ended up in the cosplay contest, which sucks horribly. Now I think I'll go to bed.

cosplay should only be done if the person can pull it off...sadly not a lot of people can do that...

Unforunately, I didn't get the majority of my points until Sunday morning, so I could only grab 5 of the ~8 DVD's that were left. They need to find a way to balance the load next year, since Sunday tourneys should still be able to yield a decent selection. Also, 100k points for Vista was stupid, you could concieveably but up 20+ box sets and eBay them to get more than Vista is worth. My only dispute with 100k for the chainmail is that you can't get that many points from gaming alone, from the point values I was seeing.
@Jerrad: That Happy Sky is Kevin's. We both have the SN insert, though.

The costs were not meant to be consistent. 3500 for a 6-7 DVD boxset, or 1500 for one volume?

I thought it was kind of silly that you could only use a card to get one thing, no matter what the point value. There were no 2500 point items and no 2000 point items left, so I had to lose either 1000 points or 1500 points on the leftover items on Sunday. :3
