The Mostly Meaningless Flavor Text:

Things have been rough here at Roxor Entertainment as of late. We've all needed a break, after that problem with the screaming mob of fans threatening to destroy our penthouse offices and whatnot.

What better way to get our rest and relaxation than with a camping trip? We'll all be roughing it, with only the barest minimum in creature comforts around (9 RVs, 18 portable generators, and a couple ITG2 dedicabs) to ensure we get our minds off things.

There may be a little trouble in paradise though; it would seem that a couple more of those sneaky Konami Lawyers hellbent on killing each and every one of us have tagged along for the fun. And they brought help. Luckily we're a little more prepared this time...



The Cast:

On the Bad Guy team:

(2) Konami Lawyers! (Werewolves) Just a couple of stuffed suits out for some rest, relaxation, and blood. Luckily for them, there's plenty of all three out here in the middle of nowhere!

JOKR! (Sorceror) While she once pined for the unrequited love of Kyle Ward, she decided it'd be better to console herself with just killing him and taking control of the company he helped create. (Material comforts are pretty neat too.)


And on the Good Guy team:

(5) Roxor Entertainment Board Members! (Villagers) Just a couple of stuffed suits out for some rest, relaxation, and a decent workout of their detective skills.

Kyle Ward! (Seer) A talented musician, and visionary businessman. From associating with them so much lately, he's got an eye for lawyers. Hopefully he'll get to keep it in the socket it came in.

Bill Masterman! (Priest) Bill knows a fuckstick when he sees one. Pity he only knows for sure once they've already been worked over.

DJ Mysterio (Hunter) While on the outside, he may appear to be just another Roxor Entertainment Board Member, rest assured; DJ Mysterio will fucking kill you.

The Obvious:

1. Do not post anything meaningful between [DUSK] and [DAWN]. You might be dead already.
2. Do not post the results of your night orders before Dawn is posted. New info might change what people are doing that night.
3. Try not to post anything meaningful in this thread if you aren't in the game. Just join in next time. :P
4. Reiterating this one: Do not edit any post that contains a vote. Make another post.

Failure to follow these rules will likely get you punched in the kidney. Do not assume that you are safe simply because I seem like a nice guy, I don't actually know you, or you don't live anywhere near me. Resourcefulness, creativity, and a nigh-infinite fount of spite are on my side on this one.


Beyond that, take care to keep your IM windows minimized and be sure to log out whenever you're around each other. Social engineering is the other half of the battle.

The game has started... right?  :-? You weren't really clear about that if you did start.

He started, all right, he implied that in his first wave of posts, and then he declared dawn in his post before the last one. Pay more attention. :p

Yes, the game has started. I figured posting Dawn in bold and changing the thread title was enough to signify that. Maybe I'll post Dawn in a bigger font size or something next time. :P

And to clear up any more confusion:

Today (and some of tomorrow) are just a really long Day 1. First lynch is tuesday at 7pm.
After that, I'll post Dusk.
Then nobody will post anything meaningful for a while.
Then everyone will submit their night orders (sending them before 7pm is perfectly ok too) before 9pm.
Then someone will die, and I'll post about it.
Then I'll send everyone the results of their night orders.
Then I'll post Dawn around 11pm tuesday.

And the cycle continues, except each day takes place between ~11:01pm (after whenever dawn is) and 7pm the next day. But no weekends.

We'll have the kinks ironed out next time. :P But if you missed it:

That's why I was confused; because no one was playing, so I didn't know if I missed something and if the game had started or not.

I'm voting for Patrick. My reasoning is as follows:

Patrick has made more posts in this thread than anybody else, but seems dead set against someone ACTUALLY GETTING KILLED-- not only has he not voted, despite apparently knowing the game started over 24 hours ago, but he's actually actively tried to keep the thread derailed, and is admitting to this much in the thread. It just seems guilty. And since I don't have anything else to go off of, as very few others have talked thus far, I'm going to have to

Also, there's only one reason behind me wanting to keep people from being killed: it'd just be an interesting flavor text if it happened.

I can't see a reason someone would actually want to keep a lynching from happening beyond that, since that's sort of the point of the game... at least, as long as it's not ME...

Besides, nothing has actually happened in the game yet, so what the hell were we going to talk about?
