Forgot to mention here, Double Premium is now turned on for the Supernova 2 machine.

However, the 2P side on the SN2 machine seems to be getting worse and worse. At this point I think the 1P side is better, but it isn't quite perfect either. Figures Double Premium would be turned on when both pads aren't perfect.

Last time I played on the P1 side on Pump Pro I believe I got a couple misses on the center arrow or something.... P2 side is still perfect.

The SN2 here appears to be gone.  The Pump machine seems to be in great condition still but I can only play 9's.

wait what? I was just there a few days ago? Are you sure it didn't just get moved around somewhere else? Or maybe it's getting a new screen?

yeah should probably update that first post, whoops.

The Pump pads are still great. However, last time I went the P2 USB slot wasn't working, P1 was fine though. I think they put a new monitor in recently too.

There's not much else really new in the arcade, other than a couple racing games and more redemption shit. zzzz

Also a few months back they stopped doing half-price Wednesdays. Now Wednesdays are "VIP Night" where you pay the VIP price even if you have a regular card. Which does absolutely nothing for people that have spent so much money there they already have a VIP card. ZZZZZZZZ

That is correct there is no DDR at all at this location. The SuperNova 2 is at Big Al's Vancouver and I just got permission from the arcade manager to do pad work on it. It's not in the best shape atm.

Big Al's Beaverton only has Pump it Up Pro 2

Vancouver also has Pump in up Infinity on a really nice cab
and ReRave Plus

The third Big Al's location in Meridian Idaho has Pump it up Pro 2 on a less than ideal cab
A DDR SuperNova
and ReRave

Hottest new thing in the arcade: FLAPPY TICKETS

Anyone planning on going here in the near future?

I live within walking distance so just give me a heads up and I can probably drop by

the Supernova 2 machine that went from here to Vancouver, is back again at the Beaverton location. And thanks to AndyBurnsDDR, the pads are still working great.

lol, yeah I've seen signs posted at the entrance saying they'd be closing at earlier times on certain days. Of course if you don't stop by regularly you'd never see the sign in the first place. Although I think they've also been posting these notices on their facebook page too, but who actually checks that?

I don't even have Facebook so that's out of the question.  Whelp.

Went to Big Al's today, 2P side was great.  Tried doubles and 1P seemed decent.  Didn't play Pro 2 mostly because I'm pretty shit at 5-panel.

Also, finally got VIP a week ago Cheesy  Feelin' the money burn at the redemption games.

Last time I played the SN2 the 1P had a sticky sensor on the inside of the left arrow, easy rotation should fix that. Any notable arrow issues?

Not that I could tell, I've usually always played 2P because I've never had issues with it and let my friends play 1P.  I played doubles (shittily) and didn't seem like there were many issues.

Went again yesterday, SN2's 1P side was great.  It's even in the path of an A/C vent now, life is good.  Still fucking terrible at Pro2.  I'll beat 9's regularly someday.

Yeah I don't really have any issues with the SN2 pads. 1P side seems fine, haven't had any problems with the left arrow or anything. I get misses on double sometimes that I'm not 100% sure are my fault, but I've seen someone far better than me FC'ing just about everything he plays on double, so...

The Pump Pro 2 hasn't gone to Vancouver yet, but I'm sure it will soon. As it stands right now, the DL arrow on the 1P side has become awful and sticks all the time. 1P side USB never works right for me, and last time I checked the 2P side USB reader was missing (??).

It should also be pointed out that they've slightly adjusted prices on all their games - for the most part, all non-redemption games are slightly cheaper. Pro 2 and SN2 are $0.95/$0.80 now, down from $1.00/$0.85. Not really much of a decrease but no point in complaining about that. A lot of redemption games went up in price but I don't really think that's an issue for most people who still read this board.

So, who is who?  I noticed like 4 white dudes and a black guy tearing it up on both the Pump and SN2 machines on Sunday night.  There's also another guy I see regularly but wasn't there that usually tears up the Speed of Light redemption game.

i'm actually curious who all went on a sunday night?
Did one of the white guys have long hair? that would be cam.
I'm not sure who else might have been there. The only black guy I know that plays a lot is Terry. And the speed of light guy is Evan and he just got back from a month in Japan. If you guys are going on Sunday nights i'll gladly meet up. I need a good SN2 session anyway. Most of the people that I know of that play regularly in the area aren't on these forums.

No idea, I just saw a ton of people that could play well.  1 guy was wrecking doubles on Pro2, another good at singles on both machines, dude wearing a Pro2 shirt that was doing what I assume was PA, another dude that let me cut him in line so I could play with my girlfriend, and the aforementioned black guy who was pretty good and used Afro(2) for the in-game character.

If anyone here was at Big Al's on Sunday, I was the Asian guy playing kind of shittily with his girlfriend.

Probably Wesley (Kyrandian)

That was me!

Probably zeppy/Iori241

Anyway good to know who you are. I don't really know if Sundays are a designated "hot time" to go play arrow smash games, I only knew that zeppy and Kyrandian were going to stop by, didn't know about the other guys. I live pretty close to Big Al's so I can usually swing by if I know something's going down.

So as of Tuesday the Pump Pro 2 machine is finally gone. There was no Infinity machine to fill that empty space yet either. I'll stop by sometime soon to see what's up
