- ORIGINAL POST -
No one has posted here since April. What happened? Oregon used to have a fairly active DDR community and now it has all but vanished.

The guy who bought the Tilt machine pretty much doesn't chill with any of us. Which is super surprising. I would think if I had a machine at the foot of my bed that I would, from time to time, like to play with other people. Or search out other players.

Maybe it's because it is at the foot of his bed? A bit too close for comfort?

Is there anywhere decent to play in Oregon still? Big Al's and Tilt are the only ones I remember and I haven't been to either of those places in a long time.

In Gresham there is a Privately owned ITG2 upgrade cab with perfect pads. If anyone ever wants to play please PM me.

Big Al's still has very good machines, Tilt doesn't. And the DDR SN in Clackamas Town Center is in perfect condition as well.
I think those are the only two public places in Oregon with machines in good condition.

Like where? The only good place in Eugene/Springfield is Movies 12 and it 's pads are passable at best.

hey all...went to John's Incredible Pizza today to play X2. The P1 pad consistently has a stuck down arrow. The P2 pad always registers a right hit when you hit the down arrow as well. Not really worth the money in its current condition. I spoke with the technician named Jake, who claims to clean it on a weekly basis. He also said 2 new sensors were on the way and to call back next week. Where do you guys meet up for ITG? I just got introduced to the new mods on a ITG2 > ITG3++++++++++++ cab in Idaho Falls, ID over thanksgiving break and would love to play some more.

BTW, I'm in SW Portland near Washington Square Mall. I've been trying to go to Big Al's Beaverton on Wednesdays to play PIU. That machine is still sexy minus the ghosting on the plasma.

Hey Dave, We meet up in Gresham every friday, Like I said it's privately owned so PM me first for access.
Good to know about the X2 because I've been meaning to do that for weeks now. Also everyone goes to Big Al's Vancouver on Saturday's for PIU.
IF you're down for tonight get at me.

A bowling alley in Corvallis supposedly has DDR again. I'll report on the status of it. Anyone in the Portland have metal pads they aren't using any more? I played at GK on my birthday and it made me miss playing. Then again, I'm broke as fuck.

I'd play Pump, Pop'n, and Technika if there were machines near me. The only thing I've got is PIU:PRO2 when I'm in Portland and it's still like a good 30-40 minutes away from me. Pop'n looks fun as hell too.
