- ORIGINAL POST -
So, a couple weeks ago, I tested each sensor on the P1 side individually. Let's see if I can remember this correctly:
Up:
Top - Good ~4lbs
Left - Okay ~10lbs
Right - Okay ~10lbs
Bottom - total fuckin' shit ~25lbs
Left:
Top - Okay ~8lbs
Left - Good ~4lbs
Right - Bad ~15lbs
Bottom - Good ~5lbs
Right
Top - can't remember, but it was under 10lbs
Left - Okay ~10lbs
Right - Good ~2lbs
Bottom - Good ~5lbs
Down
Top - Good ~5lbs
Left - bad ~15lbs
Right - good ~5lbs
Bottom - great ~1lb
I'll try to do a more complete test of this next time I'm there. Here's my advice:
1. Step wide to get the outer sensors
2. Don't doublestep with your left foot.
3. Don't use the bar.
If we can just get them to rearrange some of the sensors so that the outer and inner sensor of every panel is good, the pad will work fine.
2P side seems fine, so I didn't test it at all.

Interesting... How do you determine the exact numbers of the pressure in lbs on the sensors, do you have equipment for that?

They're estimates. It's not too hard to estimate how much pressure you're exerting.
I've also tested the typical pressure from a tap, hold, etcetera, using a scale. The typical toe-tap is around 10-14lbs; I can't remember any of the others, but it's not hard to test for yourself if you have a bathroom scale.

ok you know what's weird I was at the avalon last week and when I was doing doubles a screw was coming loose... you guys had better thank me I didn't leave it there for you to trip on. It was the P1 back arrow on the upper left. Looking closer, I realize that the panels are missing a few screws... thank goodness for employees with screwdrivers.

Wait, they have screw drivers?
WTF. Whenever I ask them to tighten the screws on the DDR machine, they're like, "I don't think we can, man."
:/ So they screwed it back in for you?
'cause if I brought it up to the front at Avalon, they would have been all like, "Hey, put that back where you found it and gtfo."

I had mentioned a possible lawsuit if I happened to hurt myself on it. He took me quite seriously.

Dude, I cut my leg open on one of the pads at Avalon a couple weeks ago. I bled all over the up arrow though, so I think we're even.
