- ORIGINAL POST -
FOR THE COMPLETE LIST OF DDR MACHINES/Some Other Bemani - Visit
DDRFreak.com's Machine Listing
FOR THE COMPLETE LIST OF ITG MACHINES - Visit
Rhythmatic.net's Machine Listing
These are the venues worth mentioning (other venues have threads not linked to):
OREGON
Epicenter
- Klamath Falls (DDR Supernova)
Ground Kontrol
- Portland (DDR Extreme)
Lloyd Center Tilt
- Portland (ITG2 Upgrade)
Seaside Funland - Seaside (ITG2 Dedicab)
Slick Kart and Arcade - Medford (ITG2 Upgrade)
Regional Sports Center in Springfield, OR.
-50cents a play, free entry if you're just playing ITG. R21 Dedicab, owned by manager so no screwy arcade distributor crap. Get cabinet keys from desk if you need to mess with volume (they'll turn it down sometimes since menu timer is off and kids will leave after one song).
KevinDDR Edit: Added machine listings and fixed links.

Multiplayer sucks. Single player does not. At the arcade in England, there's about 5 people who dominate the high score board and take the game as seriously as we take DDR.

Wunderland on 82nd??
I move back in late March and could get together then.
Which one would that be, Gateway?
I'm thinking either Avalon or (kind of a stretch) Milwaukie. However, I acknowledge the fact that this may not be convenient for everyone, so let's slap Tilt! on the considerations list too. Any other suggestions?
KDDR: Multiplayer is where it's at.

Ground Kontrol (and I guess Tilt) is almost as convenient as locations get... would work as long as everyone's interested in either extreme or classic arcade games (probably a no since no one suggested it? :p). I could also contact some non-forum people to come to whatever event, probably would get them to join the forum.
(If he's talking about Gateway, that's on 102nd, haha.)

Oh, I completely forgot GK. I'd be cool with GK, and I think zeppy and BBH would be too. I don't know about everyone else.

I loves classic arcade games. I'm totally down for GK.

I'm not surprised. I don't think it's any big secret that zeppy's into them too, he is the one who started the SHMUP thread, after all.
So that makes four of us and I'd probably go with Steve and/or Sam (a couple of my buddies), so 5/6.
Also, there's a guy from SW Po who introduced himself to me via email with an interest in my DDR pads, and I suggested he join here and see if he can come to this little get-together, and I'll bring a prototype, maybe even my laptop too (StepMania!); is GK chill enough for me to bring my lappy without risking it getting taken while I'm not looking?

GK is in a sketchy part of town. I wouldn't let it out of my sight... but I think you shouldn't leave your laptop unattended no matter where you are in public.
Don't wait til I'm in town to meet up... we can do several meetups, you guys could meet before I'm in town and all that. That's like over 2 weeks away

Two weeks is only barely enough time to plan it out. ;P Besides, I'm interested in meeting a female DDR player who can kick my ass, so I can tell people who try to say girls can't player DDR that I've been beaten by one.
I'll still go to arcades and possibly run into BBH or zeppy or someone, but for a planned meeting, I doubt we could get one organised by next weekend and I'm gonna spend the entire weekend after this one jammin' with my buddy Sam, with a break to go see The 300.

I don't remember seeing it at DDRFreak but there is a good machine at Sunset Lanes (that's bowling for the kids at home). It's an extreme with everything unlocked and pads are in AA shape. It's .75 for 5 songs and a very forgiving life meter for the n00b in all of us.

the pads are in terrible shape.. if you're around that area just go to century theatres or wunderland, the pads at sunset lanes are terrible.

I was there yesterday and played some single and doubles and there wasn't a problem (other then hitting the damn frame instead of the panels on some doubles...WTF....). I've played on and off there for 4-5ish months and never had a problem. Yes, I could go pay to get in the door at Wunderland but if I want to just stop off on my home from work for a game or two I don't want to do that. Yes, the movie theatre is in the same area but Sunset is a better price.

New rule:
You can't insult people until you hit puberty. I can't stand the thought of going at it with someone who doesn't have pubes. It seems unfair.

Puberty starts between the ages of 8 and 12.
Also, there are some of those who don't think with our cocks, nor do we think with our pubic hair. It's this thing called a brain, in fact. Funny thing is, the people I've met who seem to possess one were all issued them at birth, not puberty.

Old show I know, a little before your time. Comedy Central shows reruns if you want to catch up.

It's an old show? If it's an old show, I'm getting old, which I'm pretty sure I'm not. D:

Wow, seriously? I can't believe I was only 6 when it started. I guess I think of pre-me shows as old. I didn't consider Star Trek old when I was 4, but I consider it well-aged (not quite "old" yet) at this point.

You flaunt your age a little too much. Years means nothing.

So
I actually something relevant for this thread:
Cedar Hills Century 21 has a supernova I played last weekend. the sticker on the machine said 3 tokens but only needed 2. The right side was great to play on.
