FOR THE COMPLETE LIST OF DDR MACHINES/Some Other Bemani - Visit DDRFreak.com's Machine Listing
FOR THE COMPLETE LIST OF ITG MACHINES - Visit Rhythmatic.net's Machine Listing

These are the venues worth mentioning (other venues have threads not linked to):

OREGON
Epicenter - Klamath Falls (DDR Supernova)
Ground Kontrol - Portland (DDR Extreme)
Lloyd Center Tilt - Portland (ITG2 Upgrade)
Seaside Funland - Seaside (ITG2 Dedicab)
Slick Kart and Arcade - Medford (ITG2 Upgrade)

Regional Sports Center in Springfield, OR.
-50cents a play, free entry if you're just playing ITG. R21 Dedicab, owned by manager so no screwy arcade distributor crap. Get cabinet keys from desk if you need to mess with volume (they'll turn it down sometimes since menu timer is off and kids will leave after one song).

KevinDDR Edit: Added machine listings and fixed links.

I have here a video of Tilt! hehehe.

For Extreme, I recommend Ground Kontrol (.50 cents for single player)!! Even better if you're over 21 (closed to minors after 7). The staff's really nice and friendly, the sensors tend to be good at least on one side (according to my experience). Jason did tell me last week they had a cracked panel, so hopefully that's fixed-- GK claims to care about our gaming experience and wants us not to hesitate if we have any concerns.

I'm looking forward to moving back at the end of March.

Isn't GK 25 cents a game?

Maybe not; anyway, BullWinkle's (Wilsonville) has 5th mix for 50 cents a game too, but last I heard, the machine's not doing all that great.
However, it's one of one (two?) 5th mix machines in Oregon, so. . .

Also, make trips up to Narrows and Acme when you can.

And last, but not least, if you're going to be in SE Portland, make sure to come to Milwaukie Wunderland lots.  We're apparently getting some cool games back with the next rotation, so it should be a cool place to play DDR without your wallet even noticing. (most I've ever managed to spend on one trip to Wunderland was $11, and that was paying for myself, my sister, and food.)  And I need someone to play DDR with. ;P

I think it died.

They got a new Aliens game that sucks according to Steve (I decided to just believe him instead of wasting 20 cents), and some other new crap, but I forgot what it was.  TD2's 1p side is working well now, but the 2p side's dead still.  The DDR machine's really beat up, and the only panel that i still haven't gotten more than 25 pad misses on is the 1p left arrow.  The 1p down arrow seems to be working slightly better than it used to be, but still sucks.  There's a Star Trek game I've neglected to try, and I think we might have a Star Wars Trilogy cab lying around that might be worth trying out if you're into 90's sci-fi arcade games.  There's a trucker game that's pretty much untouched, 2 really shitty racers with bad handling and no fun features, and a hunting game that I wouldn't play if someone paid me, 'cause it's harrassin' our didder machine.  Oh, and the air hockey table's pretty good, although its jets could be better.

That's Milwaukie as of Feb 10, 2007.

I like that new tower game Tilt has.  You can win an xbox 360 or something.  But the sucky thing is now the Lighthouse game only has Tilt tickets in it as prizes.  I've spent a grand total of one token on redemtion games at Tilt, so I know Tilt takes my opinions on those games very serously.

Stacker is rigged as fuck anyway.

Yup, it's 100% rigged. It can be set to anything between 1/50 and 1/800 games for a grand prize to be dispensed.

Okay, I'll make sure to include throwing mixed nuts at anyone who plays it part of one of my freestyle routines.

I could win tournaments with that move, man.

I'll actually be in northeast (at least that's what I think it's considered. Maybe it's north?? It's just slightly nw of the Lloyd Center, and directly north of downtown). I'll figure it out.
But...I'll most definitely visit.

phylicia, thanks for the video!!! I just watched it. Pacman-Rabbit's rock. heehee

Yeah, I think you're talking about North Portland (it exists). I'll be moving back to North Portland in a month. Cheesy You might be pretty close to Lloyd Center, and Ground Kontrol is in a section of downtown that is pretty close to north portland and lloyd center. Check it out Cheesy

Milwaukie's pretty boring, unless you're into comic books or Oriental food.  There's a new Thai restaurant by Milwaukie Wunderland that I still need to check out.  Here's a full description of Downtown Milwaukie, OR:

-Nickel Arcade/Movie theater
-Lumber yard
-Library
-Chopsticks Express
-Some Thai restaurant
-a bowling alley
-a pizza parlor
-an AM PM (AM P3 rofl)
-Things From Another World
-a transit centre
-a High School
-a Middle School
-a Catholic School
-some railroad tracks
-some condos
-DARKHORSE COMICS (WIN)

Yeah, but it's a relatively short drive to downtown Portland... and we Portlanders have to go out to Milwaukie anyway just to cross the river.

I think we should make like Seattle and have a get-together. =D

I'd be totally into going to Avalon then heading over to It's A Beautiful Pizza and stuff.
I need to go Head-to-head against BBH on TD2 anyway. =D (He's got the record at Milwaukie for worst driver, so in order to redeem myself and my honour as the only regular there who plays it, I have to beat him head-to-head.)

I still don't remember ever getting the Worst Driver record at Milwaukie. I was more focused on trying to get the fastest time on the US course.  :X

A get-together would be fun but it seems like not enough people really care.

I do need to regain some of my high scores on the Ultracade machine at Avalon since they reset everything.  Sad   (maybe somebody there actually noticed this)

You did, about $1.4million.  I've gotten $3.2mil before though (no finish), so I think you have to finish to get on the worst drivers board. ;P
I have yet to finish; I can get 0.2 miles from the finish in the bus though.  Bus = fun shit.
Steve used to be as good as me, but now I kick his ass every time. =D

I think lots of us would totally be into it, but we're all too lazy to organise it. ;P

Probably either the one on 82nd or the one in Eugene.

actually, I think I remember what happened now. Somebody else got the score but got out of the machine before they saw the initial entry screen. I just happened to notice it and took advantage of it. I should've put in "LOL" or something else instead of my initials though.

I should try to beat that score legit, but I go for fast times instead  :\

I think it went to the Milwaukie one (if it still has the 7,777,770 score I got on Hard, then it's the one that was at Avalon). Beaverton has one too. I can confirm that it's definitely not at Gateway.

I didn't see Metal Slug last time I went; I'll ask Steven to check.

@ TD2: That explains why you've always been baffled by it every time I bring it up.  I used to go for massive damage (bus lol, the only vehicle I've ever managed to get a decent distance with at $2mil+ damage. xD)

The manager at Milwaukie said they'd be trying to get a little rotation done that would get them back DMX and Panic Park (and a couple other things that had done well there and missed 'em in the last few rotations).  Let's wait and see.
