So, I have basically been storing my arcade ITG 2 dedicab in my apartment for the last 2 years and I am now moving to a new place at the end of June.  I am trying to figure out what to do with it.  I am deciding between these 3 options

1) Sell it (probably for a loss, but could hopefully get quite a bit for it).  Not my top choice
2) Find a place to set it up for personal use (someone's house, etc). Could work
3) Find a place to set it up and charge for it (currently thinking Avalon Wonderland)

I feel bad as it hasn't been played in the past 2 years.  My new apartment won't even have room to store it and I don't want to put it in a storage unit.  I would rather sell it and let someone get use out of it.  Although I really want to be able to play it, as I would play it a lot if I had it set up.

I am open to suggestions from this community to try and find a place for it.  Let me know what your ideas are.  If I do set it up somewhere to charge, I really want it to be a place where it won't get abused, although not sure if I can find a place like that.

Let me know what you guys (and girls) think.

Derek

If there's going to be any battleing done over names, we've got to have a Kevin throwdown. We've got too many damn Kevins in our community.

Here's how it'll go down:

1st Place can keep their name.
2nd Place's name = David
3rd Place's name = Bunny

Let the battle of your identities commence!

We should have match together once I get back from colorado. I'm working on my timing again, but I'd like to actually play DF or Rhapsody songs with someone for once. Nobody else up here in Seattle is willing too xD

Too bad I don't drive and Seattle is 2 hours up. :X
If I make it up there sometime, call it a date then.

I use to live in WI and the last DF song I passed was heartbreak armageddon, but I probably wont have any foot speed to do any damage on any DF 15s or anything if I can't figure out a way to beast regularly D:

Yeah--actually--In my sophomore year of high school I joined cross country so I could get better stamina for ITG. (lol) I have good stamina and I got pretty good at running but it made me worse at ITG, totally fucked with my foot speed, haha. So running is kind of bad training for ITG Q_Q I need something that will increase foot speed/tight form.  :X

Really? running killed your foot speed. Interesting, because I run all the time but I still keep my foot speed up.
For foot speed you're just going to have to play fast stuff. That's all there is to it. I don't know of any other to get foot speed other than just playing the game

This machine reserved for team PoOR... Think we may have a place for this. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

Derek.  It's end of June now... well, I guess July now now.. and I dunno what you did with your cab, but I'm about to move myself and a couple of the places I'm looking at would give me enough room to house your cab.

If you can hang on I could let you know by July 15th or so.

Hey derek!
I just talked with some pnwbemani people at Ground Kontrol arcade today about this sad machine that needs a safe home.

I'm a student at Portland Community College, and I currently am the president of the DDR club both at Cascade and Sylvania campus. I am currently starting fundraising so PCC can buy an ITG2 Dedicab, because I'd found a distributor in NY that had one about a month or so ago, and they said they could easily acquire another one when we were done fundraising.

I've talked with PCC people quite a lot about putting in a machine. I've pretty much convinced them that we really, really ought to put in a dedicab. Our current fundraising estimate was for $4000- (on a $1000 loan).

Now, I heard from Schlagwerk that this machine needed a place to go.
I am in very close contact with the Associated Students of PCC at Cascade Campus (the student body president/staff people). They have been closely monitoring my attempts at getting a machine on campus, and are mostly interested in the process.

Would it seem like an okay place for it go? Please let me know what you think of PCC as a possibility- you can either take MAX Yellow Line to get up there, or the 4 Bus Line will take you right there.
And plus, we'd be working with nice people.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUU~ (and for more than one reason explained in the rest of this post)

And just when I found a nice apartment that could house the machine and was attractive enough that I wouldn't be moving there just to house the cab...
