It's been a hot minute, but with Round 1 open at Vancouver Mall and the release of IIDX 29 CastHour, I've been playing a lot more IIDX lately!

I'm looking for more rivals for IIDX if anyone wants to be my rival in INFINITAS/CastHour!

Another Castle just reopened on the 1st with the WA state reopening.

The machine has not been touched/updated software wise in some time. It's still a SM converted cab with Simply Love theme, and the freezing that sometimes happens between sets, even if you put quarters in.

The default noteskin is a bar (not arrow) noteskin so I reported it.

The tech "Rob" will be in on Monday, and so the front-desk said they'd let him know. The sensors were surprisingly in really good shape for how much care this machine normally gets. Fully playable on Doubles.  They also raised the price to $0.75, but that's fine.

Definitely a disappointment, but I can't say I'm surprised. After 2020 and the stay at home directives, I would imagine their business and profits got hit hard. I doubt they have any plans to expand right now.

Sad news. I don't think this is happening anymore. There's a large Home Depot where the D&B was originally supposed to be in the plans, and the second location by the Alderwood Mall Sears would mean that it should still be on the Alderwood Mall website... but it has been removed from the "coming soon" part of the store listings.

I don't see any mention of it on the D&B website either. It's looking like they abandoned this one.

Yeah, that one hasn't sold yet. Still up on eBay.

I can't believe I never posted this update, but this place is gone now. They had a fire and closed up shop. As far as I know, this was the last place to play arcade DDR in the Palouse. Kind of sad...

That doesn't seem worth it to me. But, I'm not "in the know" on what makes one DDR cab valuable and another worthless. I'm on the Facebook group for selling bemani games and it's weird how wildly the prices vary. I guess it's almost like the collector's market now. Years ago it was "I can play DDR on this thing, so it's worth $XXX". Now it's more like "This is a limited run DDR cab with a legit marquee and was owned by the Pope's estranged niece, I'm asking $10,000".

DDR A20 would be perfectly acceptable IMO. It'd be nice to have an arcade location I could attend that wasn't 45 minutes away.

Looking at the machines other D&B have on ZiV, looks like the only music games that this might see would be:
