I'll talk w/ the other two guys who own the machine and I'll see if they're cool with that idea. I'll have to get back to ya after that.

Now the PIU Pro is E pay for sale if anyone wants to snag it.  Would be nice to keep it local.

Poor Guitar Hero, not getting much love.  But really no surprise.  That one is more for the casual customers.

Yeah, it especially doesn't surprise me since the game is basically like playing a gimped version of Guitar Hero 3 (now available for something like $10 - including controller!) on a really laggy HDTV.

Went to Acme on Sunday. Everything was working really well! (except for GH but eh, who cares)

Can I buy the Pump Pro machine and have it put back into Acme Bowl? ;b Being able to play ITG2 and Pump in one place would make my weekends even more awesome. Cheesy

And yeah, I think the arcade version of Guitar Hero is way too similar to the home experience for the asking price, especially considering how many copies of Guitar Hero are out in households. Also, I hate to be the guy that nags about volume but GH is worse than MAX2 was, it drowns out both Supernova and ITG to the point where if no one is waiting to play ITG after me I just idle until GH is done/close to done.

I believe a Pump It Up: Pro 2 is coming soon.  It was supposedly shown at the last LIW Show alongside that iDance game.  I don't know if it would be worth holding onto the cabinet for that or not.

That's why I avoid the issue all together and go on a Thursday afternoon were I am the only one in the arcade for hours.

We will turn down the volume on GH a notch when there later this week.

BTW, we now have a Facebook page, become a fan!  Search Facebook for Masterman Vending.  May be a good way to give info on general route updates in the future.

Heeyyyyyy.....I like the chart. I think its okay. I totally could triple star that song if the lag wasn't there. It's hard to time in places lol.

Good news, I ordered more RAM so now you'll be able to triple star it. Hurray!

Some slight tweaking went down yesterday on the ITG long songs.  Times were extended just a hair, as we need to keep overall game times in check.  But hopefully someone will like it.

Thanks Bill! I'll check it out tomorrow when I go and see how it plays Smiley

Yeah, the problem was just that all the limits were set to the same thing so you couldn't even attempt to set long songs to count as two or three stages.

Here is something interesting to throw out.  Sega has come up with a new Air Hockey concept over in Japan.  Looks interesting.  Wanted to know what our local Air Hockey players think of this idea.  Might be fun to import one over here.

Looks awesome, but couldn't that have been done with a projector mounted overhead displaying onto a black or white tabletop? Granted, it wouldn't look nearly as awesome, but I don't see this thing holding up to the rigors of an arcade with drunks and alcohol involved.

That thing is AWESOME.

As far as practicality goes, does it function like a normal air hockey table otherwise? How is it dimension-wise compared to a "standard" table?

Wait, there was a game of air hockey on that table? I just saw a really cool, colorful and attractive flashing table. Tongue  If there was a puck I was too distracted to see it. Wink

PS: Does this table require a seizure warning? Cheesy

I will be seeing one of these tables three weeks from today, and will report back.  From what I hear, there are many different game modes of play.  Other than that, do not know much yet.  Air Hockey is coll as it is, and maybe this is too over the top.  Or maybe it's divine coolness, haha.

Bill: I was just at ACME and I've got a couple of updates for you. The bottom right button on Pop'n just flat out doesn't work - you press it and nothing happens. Also, I think the sound on ITG might be too loud because the speaker is starting to sound really tinny. Worried it's destroying itself.

Drummania/Guitarfreaks were great though, as was ITG other than the concern for the speaker. Cheesy

How is the machine nowadays?  I haven't been there in a while.

Our machine is sub par right now.  Cards work have the time and pads are still pretty good.
