It's hard to sync right for sims when the original was off ;P

I got all my Soup-ur-nova charts from ZiV and they seem alright.  Haven't played many of them on a pad yet though.  Nice thing about SM and ITG2 is you can just modify the syncing of each song manually IIRC.

If there's a way to do this via ITG2, I didn't know about it. Care to share?

if you use one of those open itgs or whatever you can use autosync with a keyboard. or at least i saw that on youtube once.

It looks as though someone did a cardboard mod to the new DDR X cabinet pads....

To make the HD lag go away.  Supposedly it works well.  I'd still advise not getting one of these until some of this stuff is worked out.

is there any way the pop'n music can be moved a bit further away from dragon punch? its kind of hard to enjoy the game when some random moron comes up and tries to prove his manliness by hitting a bag several times during my song. even switching it with soul calibur 3 would be nice.

the machine worked excellently though and the volume was awesome.

As long as testosterone remains a pertinent chemical in male social standards, games like that will always make money.

Any guy who came to Acme not for the arcade or the bowling are the ones likely to drop $10 in a couple minutes on something like that.

It's the same reason why the basketball games are always making lots of cash. Men need to "prove" their abilities, but how on earth can you impress the chicks in a gay arcade? Oh, I know! Kill some virtual deer, shoot some hoops, and punch the sh*t outta that punching bag! Then kick your friend's ass at air hockey by blasting the puck at him like I'm trying to kill the f*cker. The entire time you should be asking yourself, "Am I awesome now?"

I do that and I ostensibly have more estrogen than testosterone. What does that say? Tongue

That you've got a lot of pent-up aggression against the person you're playing against?

By that theory, I have a lot of pent up aggression against everybody. I just like playing air hockey and take pride in the fact that I am good at it. Wink

You're not a man until you've both maimed with and been maimed by an air hockey puck.

there's an in the groove 3 banner on there but the theme is still the same.

someone also wrote "kevin b's custom" on the marquee plastic with a marker.

more importantly thursdays are now "thirsty thursdays" with $.50 chicken wings that are very nicely sized and rather tasty.

Theme is coming as soon as I get back from England (July 7th? Well I'll be Acme-ing July 8th so I'll do some hacks or something. something something something.).

I wonder who wrote that on the marquee; not me! I've been gone. Oh well!

It is not written on the outer plexi, but rather on the inner translite.  Gee, wonder how that happened, hehehe.

Hah, I see. I might be coming back from England with some rare things that may one day find themselves at Acme! Who knows. That DDR X upgrade kit is awfully heavy to bring back from England though...and that rare America/Europe GFDMV4 kit too...
