Hey everyone, bad news.

Went in today and as I was putting in quarters for my 3rd set of itg, the machine ate my 3rd quarter. (I was using left coin slot bc the right one eats always) so no big deal, but then every quarter I put in would go straight to the refund slot, even though I didn't press the button or want a refund. So I tried the right coin slot, (bad idea) and decided to Restart the machine. That didn't do any good as far as the coin feed problem goes.

In laymans terms: neither coin feed is working.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon, let me know when it's resolved bc I hope to come back real soon!

Many errands to do today, despite the holiday status. Heh
If I am able to make it tonight, it would be later, like around 9P.

Hopefully Bill has gotten word about the latest coin slot endeavor.

that is great news :] thank you!

Also, yesterday the DDR machine had about 8 credits worth of play (8x75 cents worth) left in it yesterday, and when the place was empty, I was obliged to play a couple sets, I couldn't let the change go to waste! there may be some left if no one has noticed yesterday, when I left there was 5 credits of play left. (5 sets)

It's open until 11 tonight, like usual right?

Anon and I are actually workin' on our Supernova cab presently. If we get a lot of work done quickly, I could certainly swing by for a few sets.
..must challenge Keby to Dragonfail! XD

Tuan and I had our usbs quit working at the last second on Saturday, whenever we were actually going to attempt our challenge of choice  <_<

Can anyone confirm that USB's are presently working, and on the proper player side now?  All got redone again on Monday.  thanks!

I can confirm that USB's are presently working! Gerrak and I were there Monday evening and it worked properly on both sides correctly for each player. Thank you for the usb fix!

Old narrows player here. Will be making a stop on Friday. What times do people usually get there?

I might come by Friday also. Usually lots of people come to start during the 6-10 area, since it is open until 1, you can expect another crowd of players near then as well. I usually come between 5-7 before it gets too terribly crowded so one doesn't have to wait 20/30 min between turns.

Hey Bill,

just wondering if there are any plans to upgrade the current SFIV cabs to Super SFIV Arcade Edition in the near future - if and when that might happen?

Thanks.

Oh yes!  It's as good as a done deal as we already paid Capcom for the upgrade.  Look for it in mid March or so.

That upgrade is gonna be sick.

I had a question about the panels on the ITG3 machine, please forgive me as I don't not know a hefty deal on this specific but, the arrows do have step activated lights correct? I know DDR has light up panels and kind of recall itg panels having them also. If that's the case, do the lights need replacing? Or is it too high maintenance? Or do the panels not have lights at all?

@Neem - It's floor lights, triggered by any of the sensors on the arrow being triggered.  If they don't work it's either that they simply blew or the light board is acting up.  The latter of which is a much more difficult problem to troubleshoot than the former.

oh wow, I didn't know the problem could reach beyond the lightbulb itself being out. I'm sure at some point in time this issue was given attention, or possibly not. I just don't know the latest news on the floor panel lights, whether it'll be fixed, or whether the problem is serious. Not that the lights are a huge deal, but it does look nice.

Question for all:  What mixes are on this ITG machine?  Is it just 1-3 and rebirth?  Random other community mixes?  How much trouble would it be add new mixes and such?  Yes there's USB cards, but they only go so far sometimes.

Right now, there's 1-Rebirth, a pack ancsik and Keby put together for last Sakuracon with some homemade charts and others they found that looked good, a pack of Flash Exclusives, a pack that includes popular stuff like Boten Anna, Listen To Your Heart, and Lucky, and a pack of stuff from Foonmix.  Getting stuff added to the machine has been varying levels of difficult, but I always AT THE VERY LEAST have ancsik and Keby add songs during Sakuracon, as we have free access to the machine during that period of time.

At Sakura-con. More songs will be added. If not before.

I'm looking into getting my pack added once it's done and more importantly getting stuff from AIJ on there.

Like Xynn, Mute, and Cosmic Popes packs for example. They make great quality sims

@NIMM: IIRC, at Sakuracon, when we swapped out a sensor under one of the arrows, I noticed the lamp was shattered, not just burned out.
