I refuse to believe your recent move was purely a coincidence. Don't lie, the proximity to ACME was a primary deciding factor when choosing your new living location. =D

I second this, this is like Kobe Bryant moving near the Staples Center Cheesy that does make it convenient though! If I'm not there at 9 sharp it may be 9 and some change but count on me there Smiley the rust scraping shall continue, and i too hope that supernova isn't too quiet, can be tough if someone jamming guitar hero Cheesy

I think SN2 does need to be turned up a bit. It's so hard to hear when people play the louder songs on ITG and when people play Guitar Hero. It'd be cool if SN2 gets placed near the back or something but I doubt it'll happen. Personally I wouldn't like 3 music games so close to each other.

Well, I plan on playing it tonight. How much I play will depend on how long I have to wait between games and how well I can hear what I'm playing.

I will not lie... I looked at the floorplan, price, amenities, etc. Everything looked good. Then I saw the location and it was the final deciding factor, yes....

Except Kobe is like 6'13 and I'm pretty much the opposite of that  Wink

Also I dont actually understand this simile anyway

My patched version of OITG is finally compiling as of Thursday, though there's a bug with the script which builds the compiled code into a single executable.  It's a minor glitch (the script is adding a space to the front of filenames before looking them up, causing it to not find the correct files); I'll check with Vyhd next chance I get to figure out what exactly is wrong.

Hey Tony can you please put the Solar Eclipse Pad Pack on the machine please? Most of these charts are pretty damn solid. Thanks!:

Hey Bill, bass pedal on the DMV3 is kaput.  Called it in Friday afternoon but posting this issue on the boards as well.

Also, looks like long version songs cost 3 songs now (used to cost 2).  Can you confirm the change?

Thanks,
Chris

Yes, we got your message late Friday afternoon.  Pedal and reprice done two hours later.  You are correct, the long song defaulted back to factory default, as the game had crashed and software reloaded a few days prior to Friday.

That gun game immediately to the left of ITG is very loud and annoying on the seldom occasion it does get played; last time I was at ACME, I quit out of my first song and stayed on the song select screen until the kid was done playing just because all I could hear was literally constant gunfire from that game.

Also the Acme machine is kinda quiet again... Very hard to hear if theres any people around anyway. If someone wanted to nudge that up too it'd be appreciated  Grin

ALSO when Tuan and I were there last Saturday and the Saturday before it was damn hot in there. I checked the heater and it was 78 degrees (at least on Saturday).  I told them about it twice and they either didn't listen or they forgot. Yup. Not that I'm complaining to you Bill, just sayin lol.

BANG BANG BANG

Less BANG BANG BANG and more preg_replace('/(.{49})/u', '$1 ', 'DADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADA')
Constantly.  I'm not sure about the specifics of that game, but it seems like it would be pointless to have a trigger.

You would think it'd be the hottest during the Summer. Not the case, during the winter they turn the heat on to heat up the rest of the bowling alley and the arcade, with its many machines, gets WAY too hot. I suggest you buy a fan! Or let me know when youre headed down and I'll bring mine Wink But yeah Acme wont do anything about it

According to Arkaaito, the ITG is not accepting quarters.

The DM has died, yet again.  We have been fighting it lately.  back at our shop now, and we will post error messages next week to see if anyone here that reads Japanese can tell us what it is saying.  But I have a bad feeling that the DM days may be ending if this thing needs major help.  ARGH!

Once again, if I had a screenshot (I'm not sure I'll be making it down to ACME any time soon), I could probably translate.

I didn't see it mentioned, so thought I'd post that you can still use the left slot to insert quarters.  It's a bit finicky, but it does work.  It used to eat my quarters, until I figured out the trick to get it working.

If you enter the quarters slowly and deliberately, it will usually accept it without problems.

If you don't hear it chime, then the quarter got stuck.  If you enter another quarter it might eat them both for 1 credit, so don't do that.

You need to slightly depress the slot (pressing it all the way will eject the quarter, but slightly depressing it will usually let the quarter fall in and the machine will chime).  I like to slightly depress it quickly, cause the quarter is more likely to register and it's faster to do it many times.

(actually today, I found someone managed to stick 3 quarters into the machine without credit, yay almost a free game... then the next game I immediately failed a mislabeled 9, booo!)

Bummer Bill.  I am certain Tada will be able to help if one can, but I may try to take a look at it (the Japanese) as well.
