Got the modding done on the player 2 side! It's as flush as I can get it without false triggers and without the arrows getting stuck. IMO it's pretty good, way better than before.
Also, 4 triangle brackets have been removed from 4 different panels; 1 from the P1 side and 3 from the P2 side. This was to prevent the panels from getting stuck. All four panels I've removed a triangle brackets from still have 3 on them so people can't get into them. Please note that the triangle brackets have been removed to make the pads playable so if its possible please do not replace them. They are in my possession and I will give them back to a tech as soon as possible!
To the players at ACME, feel free to contact me via text message if there is a problem with the arrows and ill be at ACME as soon as I can to fix them.
Here's my number: (253)389-3574
Thanks!

Just wanna say that Fiesta 2 has been upgraded to v1.30.
New songs:
Y2Z - Affinity
Dream to Nightmare - Nightmare (easiest difficulty is a 19 O_O)
You're welcome and enjoy!
Also, I played a couple games of ITG. I like the "new" pads; almost 99'd Again EX11. Thanks for the foam modding; it really made a difference!

Awesome, I'm glad you liked the modded pads! I'm really happy we were able to get this done. I'll be sure to keep the pads maintained and keep them up to par.

Is there anyway to have CMOD on the machine without having a USB plugged in? Obviously, our USB ports have been busted for 2 years now and I don't think they'll ever be fixed, so I was just curious if there is a possibility.

Hey everyone!
I'm posting to let everyone know that I've made some adjustments to the player 2 side. I've rotated all the arrows and added more foam, effectively raising the panels! It is now super duper flush, nearly on par with the center panel. Also, I've removed 5 more triangle brackets to prevent the arrows from getting stuck and false triggering. The triangle brackets are on corner to corner so people can't tamper with the arrows.
I'll be putting in some work on the player 1 side today from 3:00-5:00, so if you are coming to play at that time, only 1 side will be available! Seems like the right and down arrows are not registering consistently, especially on quads and corner stomps. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress!
Everyone has to come and try it out! Please leave comments in regards to the modded pads, feed back always helps!
Again, if there is anything wrong with the panels feel free to text me and I'll be there to fix it!

Hey just posting again to let everyone know that the P1 side is perfect! Just finished working on it and there seems be no issues. Both Abbye and I've been testing extensively to make sure things are up to par, spent roughly $40. Perhaps Tony can help us next time considering he has a key, lol!
Same as the P2 side I have removed 8 triangle brackets. I've left 2 per panel, 1 on each corner to prevent people from messing around with the arrows; they are on opposite corners. I also rotated all the arrows to give a better flush feeling, nearly even with the center panel.
I wanted to note that the left arrow on the P1 side has 2 dead sensors; one on the top and one on the bottom. Only sensor that responds well is the one closest to the center panel; the one our foot actually hits.
For the bottom arrow, I noticed that the sensor closest to the center panel wasn't registering as well as the one on the bottom so I switch them around, IMO the best arrow on the P1 side after the fix/switch.
Only issue right now is replacing the dead sensors on the left arrow. Other than that, it's up to tip top shape!
Again feel free to contact me if anything is messed up.
Thanks!

Sorry I couldn't make it out. I got really lazy and over-committed myself to things last weekend. gotta take everyone ~one step at a time~ I'LL TRY TODAY! I'll also bring some tape to work on the center sensors for doubles in case you didn't do that yet.
(idk if you did, I won't touch anything if its already done though)

I did have a doubles player say everything was fine last Thursday when he was there playing.
I foam modded all the sensors and placed foam beneath all the triangle brackets, so this should help people who play doubles.
I actually stopped using Tape. It started to have the panels false trigger and get stuck, not 100% sure why but I found that panels w/o tape works really well.

ITS AWESOME. You did a fantastic job!
I didn't do anything good though because I haven't played hard stuff in 2 weeks. I'll get back into it though! I probably need to work on my pads now; the sensitivity isn't as good as acme, thats for sure!

Something about the pads at acme makes me really like it there. I think its because it has Roxor pads instead of andamiro pads. I'm honestly not sure. Maybe my pads have just gotten worn down though heh

Don't you mean they're Andamiro, not Roxor? The ACME ITG2 is a 1st generation machine like mine, which was made by Andamiro. Later models (like Tom's) were made under the Roxor name.
(I'm finished and will go back into the shadows now)

Great, I'm glad you like them!
Both Abbye and I put in some work to make the pads the best they can be! We will continue to maintenance them as we play on them, probably 3 to 4 times a month.
Both Abbye and I want you to get back to beast mode so we can crush the dance floor soon.

I don't even know what I'm talking about. I always assume that cabinets with the pads that have sheet metal panels on the base of the bar (3 separate pieces) rather than 1 whole piece always seem to be similar (roxor)... Whereas the ones with one piece of metal at the base (like mine) were andamiro or something... Honestly this is probably just a completely wrong thought I've had probably. How do you actually know the difference?

The first is a Andamiro cabinet and the second is a Roxor. There's a lot of ways to tell the difference, but the most obvious is; if it's an Andamiro cab, it will have the Andamiro logo on the marquee and at the bottom of the subwoofer panels. The Roxor version doesn't have this.
Also, the Andamiro version has "Pump it Up" written above the In the Groove 2 logo on the marquee. You can kind of see it in the photos.

Just posting to let everyone know that I did a little bit of touch up work on the pads today.
Pulled off some old worn foam and added new foam to the panels that needed them. They are up and running at 100%! If you have any issues with the pads please feel free to contact me!
I also noticed that someone pulled off a significant amount of foam from the Player 1 side; the right and left arrows had a handful missing. I don't know who is doing this but please don't remove anymore foam, at least if you do, have the decency to post to let people know. This is the second time I had to re-foam the player 1 side.
Thanks!

I wonder if Bill's techs are the ones removing the foam, on the grounds that they don't all know why it's there? I feel like that's more likely than someone in the community messing with it.
Also, I managed to totally miss the part where APHR and Abbye were the ones who finished the mod. A sincere thank you for taking this on, guys. The pads are pretty great now!

That was what I was thinking as well. I was there tonight and unfortunately, the player 2 side had pretty much all the foam removed as well.
Also, we are both happy that everyone is enjoying the pads!
Going back tomorrow to re-re-re-mod the pads, and hopefully they will remain in the pads this time haha!

Sorry I haven't been active on the forums lately - I've been busy and it kind of slipped. I still am busy, and will continue to be busy. Anyway, to clarify everything a little, I believe my responsibility to Bill with regard to the machine is to keep the computer in playable condition - when it goes down, I drop everything to fix it as quickly as possible. Beyond that, new content and working USB are a thing I try to deliver to the community as I can. Beyond that, it's not the computer any more and I have no responsibility toward it. I know how to work on pads and will do so when there's a problem I know about. I will give people their stolen quarters and check on the coin mechs if I am already there. These are things I do because I can and I feel generous, not because I have to. The computer is what I do for Bill, what has been the topic of any money exchange (parts reimbursement, etc.). So that said, if there's something you want done with the computer (settings tweaks, new content), I will get to it when I get to it, and I am trying to get back on top of doing it. The pads are already modded, obviously, but before that, I didn't need to be involved, because I would have just been another one of the players - my stance was neutral, but I didn't want to do it, because then I'd be responsible for the modding upkeep as well.
One additional point - I really don't like cutting in front of people to take the machine down for maintenance, so new content always waits if I can't get to Acme at a time when no one else is there. If you know me, my preference is to go when I'll be alone as often as possible, since I like to fiddle with the settings a lot.
My responsibilities at tournaments and at Sakuracon are also entirely separate, but related, and sometimes intersecting with those I have regarding the Acme machine.
As for the state of the computer:
1. The new OS has been pretty stable as far as I'm aware. Like the old OS, there is exactly one hiccup. This time it's that the computer only supports ITG mode and command line mode, so I can't tweak certain things as easily and adding content is doable, but more annoying than previously was the case.
2. Tachyon Delta and Fort Rapids VII Lower Division are coming soon - probably Saturday. Glad to field other requests - just give me a (working) link so I can actually download the file/pack.
3. I've been trying to switch the theme to Simply Love, but something is messed up with OITG and it crashes when you try to play a song with that theme. Switching the theme to SL will give us CMods again.
4. USB really is coming as-soon-as-vyhd-and-I-are-both-free-to-go-and-nobody-else-is-there-playing. I'm going to have to admit that last time I tried to set up USB, I rendered the old OS incompatible with the way OITG uses the filesystem in a way I couldn't figure out how to undo. vyhd, on the other hand, has actually done this successfully before.
5. I'm going to try dropping the brightness another bit. I may have misremembered the default value, and have been having issues with arrows blurring into the background on songs that I used to play a lot without that happening.
