Remember when everybody thought it was a great idea to cater to the modders? ^_^ Sounds like this is what happens when your community gets co opted.

I'll help make sure the pads are playable for people who play doubles

Keep things... whatever [way] you want. I'd just reallllly like to be able to
decently pass
a 7-foot doubles chart due to pads that work. I don't even need them to be perfect or anything, just playable.
This. So much this.
Coming from a kid who primarily plays ITG singles past 13s, I can not enjoy a game with pads that don't let you pass Doubles 7s.
I may like pads that work for me if I stream at like 200BPM, but I also want them to work if I played doubles. It can't just work for one or the other. It should be adjusted to work for ANYBODY that plays ANY style.

Cool.. Never saw Evan this week, but got to have a couple brief practice sessions with Michael and Kenji.
Did someone test all of the sensors and place the bad ones strategically on the outermost sides? 0.0

I stopped by last night around 10pm and met Isr and crelrn there.
The machine is playable again!!! On all 4 songs I didn't see any issues except me being a bit out of shape. Thanks a lot for getting the other sensors plugged in again. I'll be seeing some of you more often.
(Also I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but 4 songs is awfully long to wait through, especially when 3 minute songs only count as 1 song. 3 songs would be better if the song limit is going to remain at 3 min for 1 song, as that's already 10 minutes, but with the machine at 4 songs/credit the wait is up to a 15 minute wait with longer custom songs and the mandatory resting between songs. Especially since the machine is just $.50, 3 songs would still be a great deal.)

The monitor looks funky. Is it just a smaller lcd mounted into the cab? The local extreme here has the same thing and it makes me cry every tiem

Went here last night, pads now work great for singles and doubles play. Had no pad errors whatsoever.

Changes to the ITG cab today:
1) better PC swapped in with a decent graphic/video card, so no more lag on SummerRain and foreground-heavy songs
2) song timer activated... 120 seconds
3) a couple unplayed packs have been removed
4) a bug was fixed, so when both players press the Start button you no longer revert back to the previous screen

So the 120 sec isnt a whole lot of time to choose and find a song you want to play especially with the selectors not working right and to change any additional options. i got forced on an 11 at 700bpms, 0%mini, hallway.

You can just buy additional time by going to 'select music' out of the options screen, so it's not really a big deal imo. If there's a better graphics card installed, I'd like to see BadApple from Divinelegy2 reinstalled on the machine haha

I just played the song "Eros and Apollo", and the game crashed to the desktop near the end of the song. I rebooted the computer to start the game again.

Someone should update the state of the machine on ZiV, since it's still marked as "Bad". It sounds like they replaced the sensors recently?

Yes, the new sensors make it much much better than it used it be as a Max2 cab.
The SMH pack is currently on the machine, if you wanna come practice for the July tourny~
Presently the P1 right arrow is tending to give sporadic Way Offs every 300 steps or so. The P2 side is nearly perfect.
