Talk about awesome. Rain & I went to Evergreen last night and just happened to meet a bunch of players there. Chris, Zack, and Eric, it was nice getting to meet you all (again). I hope to see all of you around there some more.
Likewise, hope to see y'all there soon again; I only head up there about once every other week though. Twas a fun night, and Eric had some very impressive freestyle moves. Grin

Definitely need to improve my Reverse mode reading capability.

No problem, just flip the cabinet upside-down   Cry

Wouldn't be too far off from the time CosmicPope (or some other guy in the circle) lifted the arrow pad during ThroughTheFireAndFlames in an attempt to get star power.

Yeah, Tom, Dan, and I will probably be there closer to 7 PM. We'll be there until 8:45 or so.

Moses, if you read this, ddrcoder's gonna be coming with us tonight.

Pft, like that's any kind of excuse!

I won't be there for a few days. My folks are visiting and I'm going to be spending time with them, showing them the sites, instead of playing didder.

I should remind you that there's going to be a no-bar DDR 4th Mix+ tournament at Pink Gorilla in the U-District this Sat. It's not exactly "local", but it's not hours away either. You should go check it out if you don't have any plans. I can't make it, but I wish that I could.

Do you know how much the tournament costs? and I'm not sure where that is.

Perhaps Mon or Tue, but no promises. I will be having my wisdom teeth removed on Thu, so I doubt I'll be playing after that for another week. As I said in an earlier post, the next time I think ddrcoder, Rain & I will all be going, I'll try to post it here about a half-day in advanced.

I'm thinking I'll go today. My parents fattened me up during their stay with me, so I need to work off a few extra pounds. I'll probably be there around 7 or so today.

Tom was on fire when I got there earlier tonight (and Suko was matching his scores for awhile), getting a total of 1 great against me over the course of 3 songs. Back-to-back triples followed by a black flag Cool

Whenever I play against you guys, I think that I play more on-sync for the rest of the night. Heh

Yeah, Tom pulled a nearly complete AAA set. Freckles (AAA), Butterfly (AAA), then My Summer Love (1g) all back-to-back. That's probably the best set I have ever seen him play on DDR. It was quite impressive.

I'm like that too. Playing next to people with good accuracy will rub off on ya. Just hearing their foot steps while you play can be enough of a cue to let you know if you're timing is drifting.

Jon, I thought I should give you an update for you to put on the first post:

Currently the machine is still set to 3 tokens/play. The coin machine will give you 30 tokens for $5 and 5 tokens for $1.

The right side is nearly perfect. I have very rarely gotten some "sticky" arrow misses from the left arrow, but that happens no more than 1/10,000 steps. The left side is also pretty good too, but the UP and RIGHT arrows are a bit flaky. The UP arrow is the worst, but is more noticeable if you are baring and/or barely making contact with the pads. The speakers still sound a bit distorted, but it's nothing that will affect your game.

Overall it's a great place to play on the cheap, and we're getting quite a number of players making regular appearances up there. It's not just me playing solo anymore.
