Hey guys! I don't post on here much, but you may know me from the Technika scene up in Seattle's gameworks. I've been trying to coordinate an effort for gameworks to get IIDX there, as Technika is pretty much dead now. I know some of you must be fans of IIDX, and the best way for them to get a new game is to let them know and show interest (aka in the form of spamming emails to them), so if any of you guys reading this could just shoot a quick email to

inquiries@gameworks.com

or message them on this page here

http://www.gameworks.com/corporate/

That would much appreciated! I know you guys are skeptical as Gameworks does have that image of not caring, but recently they did get a new game (King of Fighters 13) purely through the community asking for it, so I think its possible! I'm willing to put in money to get them a PC running the latest version Tricoro, and getting it online, all they really need is just a cabinet. Cheers

Would be great if it happened, but considering that the last IIDX machine we had in the area got sold off due to lack of play, I'm skeptical of the chances.

Well, the cab at ACME was a version that all of the regulars had at home. Plus IIDX machines have seem to have been getting considerably cheaper. Will be interesting to see if this happens.

That cab had a blown out segmented display board. I forget what the whole story was, but the guy who owned it did something retarded resulting in the whole board blowing up in some spectacular fashion. The parts are completely impossible to find/replace and the game won't boot without some sort of check on that board so the cab was really worthless unless you had another cab to part out.
