Has the cymbal on DM been checked yet? Because it registers unwanted hits, sometimes ALOT, like it's on turbo.

Did you call it in?  Noone has mentioned any issues on the cymbal in a while so I don't think anyone was aware of that problem.

Oh I meant hi-hat. I thought the cymbal was the hi-hat because it's up there you know and today I learned it's the other way. Silly me =P

Yeah, but it actually turns out that the cymbal is really messed up now. It slowly died while I was playing today. Also, the weird static and stuff on the GFDM setup seems a bit better now, I'm not sure if that was just a coincidence or what.

Wrong thread dude

Hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Now I feel stupid.

Though it's probably messed up at Narrows too, judging from how much abuse that machine gets.

The cymbal is fine at Narrows but the hi-hat seems to be always the problem. Acme's opposite

Thanks to Bill's all-working report, I'm going to be visiting Narrows, probably 3-5pm on Saturday.

I'll be visiting Narrows today as well...but not certain I ever saw Bill give a 100% thumbs up on condition of the DM machine...

Err...oh yeah...well I guess it's fine, because I went anyway. DM is working perfectly as usual, but IIDX...oh boy, IIDX needs some work done to it. The keys on the 1p side are pretty unresponsive, the TT is the same. The DVD player not working is causing the game to lag and sometimes get offsync. Other than that, it's as good at it was at Acme.

Actually I believe I saw you playing Kevin.
I got there during your last stint at the least 100...if that was you.  You're definitely good; shoulda stayed and sessioned with me =P heh.

Bill, the GF11 needs some attention.  We called this issue in but to clarify; the screen is flickering and there is static on it; makes it very difficult to play accurately.

Chris, thanks for calling in.  The marquee lamp was going out, causing that problem.  All fixed, THX

Damnit, why do I always leave when others are arriving? Tongue

I'll probably be going next week, or really whenever others are going. As I said in another thread, I'm in Seattle for orchestra rehearsals for the next 6 months worth of Saturdays, which really makes it possible to go to Narrows (1hr vs. 2hrs).

IDV4 is ridiculously big, bright, and loud which is cool. the gameplay is 100% different (not a surprise) which sucks because it's like starting all over again. and it's $1.25 Sad only played one game.

the seat on 1P, when you slide it all the way forward, it doesnt actually lock there, it drifts back a bit, making it like a huge stretch for me to reach everything. i should have played the other side to see if it did the same thing but there was a lot of people there and i need some proper alone time with that game.

DM hi-hat registers multiple hits when you hit it.

IDv3 works good.

oh and pump at paradise bowl works good too.

I mentioned this issue to the tech on duty from Masterman Vending when he came to the arcade on Sunday; a pity to see this problem persists  Sad

Hey Bill, do you know if you're ever going to get 2 more Max Tune 3 machines for 4 player races?

P.S. What happened to all the shooting games?

Probaly no more Maxi Tunes.  Not doing all that great with the two.

Shooting games?  No less than before.  Removed the House of dead 4 when the new Jungle shooter arrived, and also added an Aliens shooter.  Am I missing something?

Oh, sorry, let me rephrase. What I meant by shooting games were the pistol ones, for instance Time Crisis, that Vice Something game, Carnevil (Not pistol but super fun  Cheesy )  and I think you guys used to have House of the Dead either 2 or 3. I'm glad you kept House of the Dead 1 in there, but it's getting kinda old and boring.  Sad   Do those games just not have many customers or something?

P.S I'm surprised that Max Tune 3 isn't getting much business. It's probably the most solid racing game in there.

Hey bill, I was just curious but are those 4 racing machines next to Supernova actually doing well? I usually don't see people on them when I'm there.

WE used to have House of Dead 4 there.  I think it was too hard, as people turned away from it.  The original HOD is still tough to beat.
Yes, the four linked up Cruisn games are still going strong.  Families and children especially enjoy that game.

Will take a look at the monitor on Extreme, thanks for the FYI.

Oh, yeah I know you guys had HoD4. I never played it because of the automatic guns. I'm talking about a really long time ago you guys had HoD2 where ITG2 is and stuff.

P.S.  Just out of sheer perseverance, if Max tune 3 had more business would there be a chance of 2 more machines?

Oh, so there is hope! Uhm, if possible do you have an estimation of about how much more playing there would have to be?

A lot.

More than just the PNW WMMT community could do, but that's not to say that you guys should give up. Just try and get more new people playing. Hell, if it wasn't so damn far to Narrows, I would get into MT3 pretty hardcore!
