We haven't unlocked everything.  We've entered the 5 codes we could find using our phones (4 songs plus the Warp8XM course), but those came from piu-pro.com, which indicated these were 5 of at least 11 unlocks (I believe every code is available now, I just haven't looked deeply enough).

Found 'em!. Apparently we're still missing one, but I'm not sure for what. Also, looks like VvV was unlocked via a revision patch, but who cares since that song sucks.

I found a video walkthrough posted for the arcade...

Hopefully this place expands later with some more games.  Seems like it could become a pretty nice arcade if they listen to the players.

I actually have the VVV unlock code if anyone wants it.

FYI, we need the patch if we want scores and unlocks to be saved, everything is gone today.

Edit: Volume is much lower, too.

Maybe I'll stop in later and talk to them about the machine volume.

As far as the patch goes, I don't know how willing they would be to do that, especially since anyone we talk to probably WOULDN'T have executive decision skills. Maybe Jon should call the manager whose card he took.

Tom (ddrcoder) actually asked one of the guys to turn it up and he did, so that problem is temporarily solved.

The patch situation isn't as bad as the encore song pack situation. The encore song pack requires the owner to register for the download, whereas any of us can bring the patch on a USB stick, we just need to find someone nice enough to go into the service menu and install it for us (which amounts to pressing the "Install Patch" button).

Got it. Maybe I'll go down there later tonight and chat them up. I bet if I dress nicely and buy a classy drink they'll listen. Wink

Sing a song for them too. Smiley

Edit: By the way, they're not really strict at all about dress code during the afternoon, at least. Tom wore some athletic shorts and no one cared, so yay, no more playing in pants for me (though I'll bring some just in case).

Yeah, I'm sure we could get the patch installed easily on the machine if we asked them to. Laura, if you cannot get them to, let me know. Smiley

I never saw you there, Suko!
I was there around 8:30 - 9:30 on Friday. I only played 1 game of PiU (I'm not that great at 5 panel) and then tried to get rid of the rest of my credits in H2Overdrive and that ridiculous Hummer game that encourages reckless driving. It was a fun time, but I was amazed that they didn't have Time Crisis 4 or something similar. Hell, Afterburner Climax would've been an awesome site.

I need to check this place out sometime. I want to get better at 5 panel, but this place just doesn't seem like an arcade to frequent do to dress requirements. I'm not saying that I'll NEVER come here because of that, but I don't think sweating buckets in nice pants and a dress shirt is something the people here want to see haha.

Oh well. Do any of you guys plan on going back anytime soon?

So, as it turns out, they've already registered for the website and are getting all of the new content sent to them. The manager was very nice and told me that he would be happy to install the patch, but he wants to do everything directly through Andamiro without our involvement because apparently the machine came with a warranty which involves free parts for a year that he's concerned about voiding. Rather than be a douche and go on about how I know people involved in making this game and therefore it wouldn't really be a risk for him, I thanked him for his help and was just astonished that there's a WARRANTY that includes FREE PARTS FOR A YEAR. Really? Sensors are EXPENSIVE; that's so useful!

Wow, that's awesome AND unexpected on all fronts. Hopefully it'll be up to date when I come back from vacation!

Keby, as I said earlier the dress code isn't really enforced, at least early in the day. Dress shirts definitely aren't required, and it seems like you can get away with athletic shorts as well. I've already gone both yesterday and today and plan to keep that up (with the exception of this coming weekend, since I'm going on a birthday vacation of sorts in California) until I feel comfortable with Pump, then I'm gonna alternate between Acme and here.

Similarly to you, Nekura, I'm trying to reacquaint myself with 5 panel.

I'll actually probably be going to Power Play daily for the next while, but that's mainly because it's three blocks from my apartment and I used to take a one to two mile walk every night, which I can't do right now because it is allergy season and Bellevue, despite being quite developed, still has enough trees to make walking outside very difficult for me. This won't interfere with my ACME trips at all, though - I go to ACME for long marathons of dance gaming, whereas I see Power Play as a more viable option for short (3-4 sets) visits where I would previously just have not gone anywhere.

I hope to keep running into some of you guys. In fact, if people do actually make Pump at Power Play a regular occurrence, I would be happy to host get-togethers at my place before or afterwards.

@Laura: Don't forget that he gave us both a free shot at the laser maze for coming to him and trying to help out.  So far, I am very impressed with the level of drive the staff seems to have.  I hate to admit that it's hard to draw conclusions since this is day 3, because I would really like to see this place succeed and prove that Bill is not a strict requirement for not going out of business.  Of course, free games for reporting things and actually caring is probably trademarked by Masterman Vending, so we'll see how this pans out.

Additionally, he told us that this place is a test run before they open more alongside Lucky Strikes around the country.

To elaborate on that last post, the most recent batches of machines are glitching, and Power Play won't install r6 until they get their the stuff already on the way from Andamiro (which should hopefully include r6, or we have to convince them it's okay to install it).

To be honest, I'm pretty sure convincing them to install it would be easy if we got, say, Chris Foy or Kyle Ward to show up. "Hey, my name's in the credits, so this is okay, right?"

It's too bad they don't have ITG 2, or else half the people who use this site would be in the credits. Wink

Well, they're not going to be able to install the Encore song pack without installing at least r5, so hopefully they go all the way. Smiley
