So here's the deal, guys!

Many players seem to be getting back into Extreme (or never got out of Extreme in the first place  Wink) so Gerrak initiated a conversation with Bill, who decided that if Gerrak could garner enough interest in Extreme, he would switch some machines around so that one of his Extreme machines would  be at ACME in lieu of Supernova 2 (which would wind up at another location; likely, that other location would be Narrows.)  Bill has told me the same thing he told Gerrak, and given me the go-ahead to post this poll and make the PNW community into a true democracy.  A couple of things to think about when you vote:

1. Bill can't just switch out machines on demand any time the popular vote dictates, so please think carefully about which game you would rather play at ACME indefinitely.  In other words, do not assume that Bill can just switch SN2 back in a month once the novelty of having an Extreme to play on wears off.  Vote not only based on how you feel right now, but how you think you will feel in three months.

2. There are "strongly prefer" and "prefer" categories for a reason.  Please try not to exaggerate how much of an impact this switch will have on your ACME sessions/wallet.  This is my attempt not only to figure out how many people prefer each game, but also give Bill an idea of what financial consequences he can expect to come from this decision.

3. Ignore the date; this isn't an April Fool's joke, I promise. Smiley

I said it doesn't really matter to me, which is true, since I rarely go down to Acme as-is. However, I have more Extreme machines up here in the North end than I know what to do with, so I must confess that, if SN2 is removed, I really will have no reason to visit Acme at all. So, in light of this observation, I say keep SN2, but my financial input on this matter is minimal at best.

Extreme > SN2!

Btw what I suggested is Daffodil Bowl (Puyallup)'s perfect Extreme machine to Acme, Acmes SN2 machine to Narrows, and Narrows' SN1 machine to Daffodil. Seemed like a perfect idea. Get those votes in!

EXTREME!!!

Seriously, though.  I would definitely prefer Extreme and would make more frequent trips to ACME if Extreme were there. =D

I'll definitely vote for Extreme. I go to Acme sometimes to play MT3DX and Drummania, but I'd definitely go more for Extreme since Gameworks already has SN2 and X2. Sometimes it's nice to play Extreme, especially since there hasn't been a good EX location around my area for a long time.

I've pretty much played the shit out of extreme, and like SN2.  Acme has by far the best SN2 machine, so I'd honestly probably go less frequently if it became extreme, there are good extreme machines closer to me (Tower Lanes so it's Bill's regardless...)

SN2 is by far my preference. Course, with GW having X2, my trips to Acme have been reduced.

Back when Sunset Bowl used to flourish in Ballard, Extreme was just a few blocks away from my place; it was pretty top quality too. In my honest opinion, GW Extreme never compared to it.

I'm all for Extreme!! Cheesy

I stopped playing Extreme completely after getting into ITG in 06'-07'. I'll have to say that I miss Extreme... I'm not quite done with that game yet.

Looking at how many people have posted in this thread/answered the poll already and who they are, it looks like we have a pretty good sample of the community here as far as gauging the general community's thoughts.  Hey Bill, what do you think? Cheesy

It looks like the jury has a verdict!
It also looks like Daffodil is going be having an Extreme tournament in May, so the move can take place shortly thereafter.

Ancient arrow smashing will return to Acme!

There's a tournament at Daffodil in May and I don't know about this?! And it's not being hosted by anyone here on these forums? Am I missing out on something here?  Huh

Keep an eye on the forums here, I bet the announcement is coming soon.  Yes, it is a board member here hosting the tournament.  Approval of the date is expected later today from Daffodils owners.

I had hoped everyone forgot about this... I haven't had time to put it together at all as I've been drowning in my own drama and such, and I've been worried about an oversaturation of tournaments what with the 2 ITGs in the last couple months, the ongoing extreme challenge tournament and SPERGIN coming up. I sincerely apologize, I will try to put together something at a later time when it's more feasible for me and reasonable timing for others.

Bill I would appreciate letting Daffodil know if they haven't forgotten anyway, and it's fine at this point to move the Extreme machine; if this happens at a later time I can certainly do it on a different mix of the game.

Thanks all for the understanding.
