quick update: dance maniax is broken...doesn't surprise me, that game is notoriously difficult to maintain anyway...

update: supernova's just fine.  it's now set to 5 songs for 26 pts (23.4 vip)...

GameWorks is the closest SuperNova machine to me so I will probably start going there regularly...however I just moved up here from California and we had three songs per game.  Doesn't five get you extremely tired?  Does it work well?  I guess it will get me in better shape... :shock:

5?  Wow.  I can do 4, but 5 is a little difficult if I'm playing 9s or harder.

i went to gameworks today. people from destructoid.com did a little interview with me and recorded me play drummania. i guess they said they're gonna put me on their front page sometime :O

Crazy.  They were probably there because of PAX.  I think it'll get crazy crowded this weekend.

I played Pop'n Music with some guy from 1up.com.  He was pretty good, playing 35-37s.

the extreme and usa have always been in poor condition...the supernova's the only one in decent condition.

i'm probably gonna be at gameworks around 4ish today. after today, i won't be able to go as often cuz i'm moving again in like a week in a place of my own and i'm gonna pretty much be super tight on money

yeah i made the mistake of playing usa one day. it's pretty horrible. that was when there machines were out in front and extreme wasnt working for like months. i do agree with the whole swap out usa with itg2. that would be pretty awesome...

DM/GF works good still. supernova 1P was decent.

I'm going to be here from around 7ish to 9ish tonight. Someone come and session GFDM with me so I can cheaply get the encore stage!

Maybe I'll finally get to play Onihime in the arcade. It's one of two songs from DM10th and below that I haven't passed.

A tech ("Big Nate") told us that the Pop'n machine will be in the convention center for some reason tomorrow (Monday), so don't go if that's what you want to play. It might be on freeplay at the convention center so maybe someone can sneak in and play.

They also put new lights in a few of the buttons so they are VERY BRIGHT now.

EDIT: The machine came back from the convention center with a busted button 4 (left blue). I told a tech and he fixed it but after one song it was sticking and stopped working altogether by the time I got to extra stage. I didn't have time to tell them again so yeah as of now that button is broken.

going to seattle tonight with ppl so i probably will try to ditch them at some point and get a few games of DM in.

Oh man they put all the music game shit in that one room so now Pop'n is right near Drummania.
